It’s quite the shame but all testers are not really testers, just happened to be friends with vetex or friends of a friend of vetex, they got tester because of connections rather than actually wanting to make arcane odyssey a healthy game. Ultimately, it’s vetex fault for accepting testers that way. I do hope that one day it gets better. But the chances of that are slim to say the least.

Well in the testers' defense, there's only so much they can really test with only so little of them being active. And it doesn't help that stuff like this takes so much time to develop, plus they also have to work with scheduling and have to find time to report these kinds of things. This doesn't really excuse the fact that something like the Warlord incident happened, but they probably glossed over it since it worked with the other classes

It's the AMOUNT of testers playing that changes everything if 20% of testers are actually doing the work then you're only getting 20% of the testing done. One tester (positivity iirc) used to be a mod. Once he quit being a mod he was given tester just because he's well known in vetcord. Edit: actually funny how almost everyone in this comment section is more qualified to be a tester than the current testers. At least the guys in this comment section give a damn 😭

lets not forget that they will be reversing the plunderer m1 nerf, pre nerf plunderer would literally insta kill anyone that inst a tank, and since that wasnt enough, it also buffs it so it will deal even more dmg meta response to that was to increase the reload time

Theres also another problem that is caused by tests not being done properly. The game takes longer to update as so many bugs are meant to be fixed before the update, get released to the main game, then gets found by actual players and the changes get added after a week or 2 weeks after the update has already released. This quite literally wastes time on the development cycle and people complain about the game taking so much time to update. Vetex can infact make an update in a month, its just that a whole nother month gets added when bugs or changes needs to be made to the already existing game. Meaning nothing new is being added, wasting everyone's interest and time in the game. Its also boring as hell for vetex to make changes and fix stuff because coding takes a crap ton of time. And bug fixing demotivates every dev out there.

These damn testers likely never even played arcane adventures, world of magic, or any of vetex’s other games besides AO. I don’t know why he didn’t bring back the people from the admin clan from arcane adventures

Like most roblox games, I'm conviced most testers just have the role to flex, you can't even count on the KZfaqrs either cause they more than often just want the role for content, once they get bored they aren't touching the game, we need better testers. That's why so many roblox devs have issues balancing things, testers deadass do nothing

vetex should fire all of his unnactive testers and put ppl that ARE REALLY interest on working on game testing, the most crazy part of all of this is that even things that were happening to everyone (non pvp things) were only fixed like 1/2 months later, one good example for that is the flinging when you spawn above you ship, there are a lot of other bug/balancing issues happening since 2023 bro 💀💀💀

Idea: Make a different version of tester so people can’t leak using it, and give that to content creators. The 3 testers that actually do anything now can keep testing the next update, while the content creators (that actually play the game) can report anything they find normally

i genuinely dont think these dudes even test anything. ofc when changing numbers, unexpected stuff happens especially with weapons and magics, nothing is the balance team's fault. testers, who fail to even go on the game and test it are the main reason for the game being super shit rn (other than vetex's coding). even basic things that'd take 3 minutes to test, like not getting aerial moves back when standing on magic-made platforms, (Which was in the patch notes of an update) don't work. this game has one of the largest potentials but sadly a pathetic team behind it
