As I write DCOH is predicting 10 mins. I think people were just a bit busy with US Independence day and critically important real-life elections in UK and France.

Don't forget the quarter finals in the Euro 2024 championship - this will have kept a few people away as well, on top of the other reasons.

I think the things you mentioned are a major factor, but also they did just adjust the resistances by making it a flat totally vulnerable or totally resistant state. I don't think it's much of a stretch to think that they also adjusted what those resistances mean, and I personally think they did make totally vulnerable a bit more resistant than it was. Everything you mentioned is still relevant, but I also think when they made the resistance change they did intentionally make it take more rounds on the core to kill a heart - and I think they overcorrected from what they probably intended. Still, you're not wrong. I've gotten my 400 Arx from all five of the first hearts, and having done this on four previous titans... it is getting pretty repetitive and stale. While the glaives that spawn make it a bit more challenging, that's also resulted in folks avoiding winging up for it and just preferring to run solo, thinking that more people in an instance spawns more enemies - which seems to have some merit. The result is a solo, repetitive experience with small rewards beyond the initial 2mil skin/kit. After the recent changes to the Arx store... 400 Arx per heart just isn't going to be that much of a draw anymore. Ultimately, I agree with you and the data backs you up, but I also think they tweaked the resistance.

Elite Dangerous has seen a massive drop in players over the summer so thats also why. I dont mind though, its my first titan fight and between the bugs and the oddities, i am still having a decent enough time. The sudden spike in the amount of npc in solo inside the titan instance made it impossible to progress for a while following the patch though, but it seems to have been hotfixed so its back to enjoying the bombing runs and the 200 arx rewards each time a heart goes down. Frontier need to drastically change something though as player count keept dropping each month

I've never bothered with thargoid material farming. I'm disappointed about the fact that mat farming was still needed to apply the improvement to modules. FDEV made such a big deal about this, and it ended up being more grind than it's worth. If they didn't want to give the engineering modification away completely free, then at most have a community goal to make the engineering mods available for a price without farming.

Ya, the fun is starting to wear off. I hope the remaining three Titans bug off (heh) after this, since it doesn't make sense for the Thargoids to stick around when Humanity has soundly defeated a majority of their hive ships.

Is there a quick way (or site) to find ground bases currently being under attack, without flying there, just to see it's odyssey only base or allerady empty with no bugs ( i'm still on horizon) I'm lousy pilot but had few medusas on these bases with my mod shard chally (1heart, dock repair, repeat🤣) And it's great material farming.
