A Croatian watch inspired by a sea urchin?! Seriously? Well, yes, actually. No less than 47 applied components on the dial make this one a treat after dark. Initially at least. I only wish it came of a bracelet or was a bit cheaper. Look out for the compressor though, looks great. Cheers, Jody.

Not perfect but looks gorgeous. The way the applied dots distort in the crystal is just sublime. And noone should deserve kudos for not imitating iconic designs but it's always nice when newer & smaller brands don't.

Great review as always, Jody. You really are at the very top of this game, and probably the most entertaining watch channel to boot. I agree that if the designer is an avid diver it is curious the watch lacks a minute track. Especially when so much thought went into the dial. Its all a bit fur coat and no knickers. I also think the length of the lugs seem a bit long somehow, making the case look strangely egg shaped. I realise appearance is subjective, but this one is a miss for me, especially at that price. It's a shame because you can see it has been a labour of love with a lot of effort made. I do applaud the attempt to do something different.

That's a cracking looking watch, although crying out for a dash of colour somewhere like the second hand... Too much money for me though. Over 500 on a micro brand and it has to be bringing something really special to the fight. This is 350 nice, not 500 mindblowing

I'm no Croatian, but cannot help but wonder at those people who don't know where Croatia is. How can that be? We're talking about an European country, not some obscure 3rd world one in the "bottom" of Africa or Asia. Anyway. As for the watch - even though the design is indeed a bit too simplistic, but the dots there are a nice feature. The Ranger hands are a good one as well.

All the applied indices on the dial is amazing. It was probably a big ordeal to create it but wow! It's a gorgeous watch. I have a small wrist and wish they would've went with more of a vintage size diver.

Agreed. Having said that, I hope this company survives and flourishes for years to come, all the while making their own style of watches. Because I rejoice in Capitalism. I rather like this look - especially the applied numerals... although, I think the inner lumed dots could've been painted on with them being ringed in the same silver-toned... So basically just flat. But definitely great marks for trying something so obvious no one was doing it!

An almost perfect watch....seriously impressive dial, really like what they've done but the lume could be better, the sea urchin makes sense, all too often are we left scratching our nappers trying to see the inspiration behind a design, the addition of those co-ordinates cool touch....the price....ouch, they really need to re think that one, 3/350 max....great review as always brother, keep them coming....🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⌚🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⌚

Unless all of those applied dial elements are done via machine I think the price is justified. It might not be a spec monster at that price but there's something to be said for design and hand work. Imo of course.

Beautiful vintage style diver! They did a great job with the applied indexes without making it look overly busy. But at that price, I’ll have to pass. Especially since I just received my San Martin 62mas (vintage diver) that I am absolutely loving (thanks Jody for that review).

This one has got a decent dial, meaning it does not look like a rip off of something I've seen with other brands. But the bezel is useless, the case is thick, the lume is poor. Where's the stainless steel bracelet for that chunk of money? I can definetly show some appreciation for the effort the owner put into making a story for the watch he designed in Croatia and then asked the Chinese comrades to build it. Thanks for the video, Jody! 🙏

Beautiful. EXCEPT THERE ARE NO MINUTE MARKERS AT ALL! Not on the bezel (as Jody mentioned) not on the face. It basically becomes impossible to set the watch even close to accurately for lots of folks like us who have tons of watches, let them run down, and then set them when we put them on to wear them, unless you get lucky and put the watch on exactly at 7:05 or 8:20 in the morning, for example. And while I don't think the price is too awful, it is a little high (without a bracelet). Have to be a pass for me.

If I can add; How about putting a favourite (if you have one) silicon strap on a watch. Personally I use a Barton silicon, mainly my dive watches, I still use a leather on a dive watch. But on a dress watch, it does looks odd. This is such a lovely watch, but the lack of minute indices would play havok with my time keeping!

Love the dial! But as you stated Jody, a bit pricey. There's a lot of alternative dive watches out there for that kind of money. Helm springs to mind. Anyway good review & I actually like the co-ordinate reference to the blue cave😎

I think youve also reviewed watches from Portugal and Transylvania too btw , Really nice looking desk diver that would look great in a dress situation I reckon .Not worth the price tag to me but its niche so will prob be enough people that think its unique look is worth paying a premium.

The sea urchin dots should be pressed into the watch face in the same color as the face, otherwise the dots are too distracting. Add a properly marked and lumed ceramic dive bezel, upgrade the lume on the face and add a quality stainless steel bracelet and maybe lengthen the hands....

I would much rather keep the applied indexes than replace them with printed ones for the sake of adding lume. Those indexes make the whole watch.

Nice watch..interesting style, not a boring copycat.....price is a bit high, but also, couldn't they make the case a little slimmer? Isn't a slimmer case one of the advantages of using the Miyota 9015 movement?

Great review Jody. The dial is gorgeous, but bezel is unfinished, non functional. The case could of been little bit smaller. The price wouldn't be a problem if the watch was a little been smaller and with a proper bezel, and a little bit better lume. After all, Nth Baraccuda and Näcken costs 700 € with Miyota 9015, in Europe.

Not a bad lookin' watch, man. I've just gotta get used to it a bit if I owned one. Also, I think there should be one like that but with a date complication at the six in the same shape as the hour indices with a frame around it and a white date wheel. I prefer a date comp on my watches. Whatchya think?
