I went into a restaurant in Hollywood, dressed in a suit, to apply for a job. Dog was sitting on the patio with his wife and they saw me walk in with a resume, then leave with a smile on my face. Dog said, you look like you just got a job! I said, I hope so. He said, good luck! Thats all, I walked away. Didn't get the job. The end.

@@Prot4t0 I'm not famous in any way, but I did work in HR and recruitment for some years. I'm sure you know what you're doing, but there is one tip that I've seen gain people the job, even when they weren't necessarily the absolute "ideal" candidate. Obviously be confident, but the main thing, if you want the job, ask for it. Either directly or by telling them you've really enjoyed meeting them and you'd really like the job or really love to have the job. Enthusiasm and confidence will go a long way to getting you the job. They'd rather have someone who they can invest in and mould who will stay with them than hire someone who is the "perfect fit" but didn't seem that bothered if they got it or not. It really does work. Hope that helps.

@mewgiah8057
@mewgiah8057 3 жыл бұрын
@@himintheflesh3877 Little late on this. Self-fulfilling prophecy means ones fear of something happening, makes it happen. In the case of Dog, he didn't want his son to date a black woman, because he uses the n word a lot behind closed doors (casual conversations in his house). So he was afraid that he would say the n word in front of his sons gf and she would freak out - thus ending his career, when it got out that he uses the n word in his regular vocabulary. So its a self-fulfilling prophecy, because his fear of the public finding out he uses the n word and it ruining his career, ended up coming true when the audio of him expressing this fear, was the reason it came true. TLDR; the idiot's fearful rant on people discovering his use of the n word, ended up the being the very reason the public found out he uses the n-word.

Duane is a perfect example of turning your life around. So many outlaws never change, but he is living proof of not allowing your past define you. No one is perfect and we all have made mistakes along the way. He has taken his experiences and used them to help others turn their lives around. Duane and Beth helped change countless lives. They always lifted their captures after they were in cuffs, letting them know that they could live a lawful life too. I heard the following somewhere and it is a positive way to look at things.. We cannot choose how we come into this world but like a ship we can choose our destination... it's all about choices.

One other note I know about Dog is that somewhere between the time he was released and the time that the show started Dog worked for the vacuum door to door sales company Kirby selling outrageously fancy but expensive vacuum cleaners and home care units. He eventually became a Kirby distributor, someone who is essentially a franchised Kirby outlet and hires others to be door to door salesmen. If you look in the background of the office during a few of the episodes you can occasionally spot a few different Kirby units from those days.

@kirikoza2488

@Elite Soulfly if he started a channel, that would get a fuck ton of attention. An old raunchy cable personality jumping into the digital world? Someone like him at his level of recognizability would make huge waves, i'd say enough to earn a modest following that can support him. He probably got a big check for this new show but cable money is drying up fast and if this doesn't hit like his last show, KZfaq is probably his best bet.

If you really believe that then you must be completely ignorant of the current state of KZfaq. This platform is slowly but surely fading away along with all of it's advertisers and creators. (i don't even know the name of their race even tho i know they hate this word.) to be clear i am not suggesting he should say it again and again, i am saying he knew he would slip up and ironically that is where he actually did... self fulfilling prophesy in it's purest form... i mean his goal was to never say it but he knew he would slip up...
