I'm sure you know what you're doing, but there is one tip that I've seen gain people the job, even when they weren't necessarily the absolute "ideal" candidate. Obviously be confident, but the main thing, if you want the job, ask for it. Either directly or by telling them you've really enjoyed meeting them and you'd really like the job or really love to have the job. Enthusiasm and confidence will go a long way to getting you the job. They'd rather have someone who they can invest in and mould who will stay with them than hire someone who is the "perfect fit" but didn't seem that bothered if they got it or not. It really does work. Hope that helps.
