A peek at the miami marina would be cool you havn't done a lot of marinas on the indian river florida east side (intracoastal waterway) theres some views when ya cross the indian river I aint seen in a while. I remember there was a floating school bus by jensen beach. But that was 30 years ago. There were some amazing yaughts in St pete. Went snook fishin in those St pete canals at night underneath the dock lights by those rich folks huge boats I'dd look and think how could they afford the fuel. How could they afford all that?

Colombian area used to be in West Kendall...Now it's really mixed...That motorcycle guy would have been thrown off his stage if this Cuban old lady would have jumped out of her car at the light and started singing and dancing to "Tainted Love" and laughing at him...Or opened the window playing Pat Benatar's "Heartbreaker"... He would have "Run away" with that music turned off and feeling like, "Wow" Miami is really unpredictable and no place to show off "Dumb Attitude Problems"...LOL...He made me remember when my son (who is now 38) was 5 and asked my husband "Dad you remember when you were a "White Boy?" because he was only listening to rock music for like 3 years and all of a sudden he was playing spanish again...I would say 40% of Miamians are Guzanos or Marieltos, who were around in 1981 when that song was made popular by Soft Cell...Balseros came in the 90s and they come hungry to hear about what Miami was like before them...I'm sure they all know that song by now...I know balseritos who have been turned on to RadioHeads and the Cure by my kids and it's spreading like wildfire...New comers coming here thinking they are going to change Miami, are in for a rude surprise...Miami has learned how to deal with that crap since the other influxes, of the Colombian cartels of the 80s...The Central American influx of the Sandinistas and the Venezuelans of lately...They'll acclimate to Miami, like all those before them...Because, Miami is accepting of all newcomers and still knows how to keep it's essence...It grows and evolves with the times and they can only add to it...Never subtract...It has all been here, already waiting for them...Miami is a futuristic culture...No racism, accepting and yet solid values to fall back on...Miami is "Solid" as a diamond...Faceted only by master craftsmans of old....You belong or you're gone...By choice of course...LOL...Katie is my future realtor...Can't wait!...Besitos and many blessings to both...
