On another note Mike is a great podcast host. He has really insightful questions and really listened and researched the host. Barry is also a great host and honestly matches the great energy. I hope they make a 2nd channel with both hosting with great hosts.

This new interview format is really showing off how much everyone has grown. From seeing them in light-hearted, short cut kitchen content, to this long form, probing (almost News level of interviewing skills) interview style is fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed the episodes so far, and looking forward to more! Keep it up all (Special shout out to the editing on these, it's so seamless/

I just realized that this podcast being put on the channel sort of took the place of those "monthly" trends/foodie moments around a table vids you did a bit ago, and I think that's a fantastic way to do it! Having a quick little conversation between yinz before the guest of some fun or exciting things you did culinarily is a great way to have a down to earth feel to the podcast. Of course, most every podcast will do this, but it's something that I really missed from Sorted, especially here on the channel! (I'm a music snob with a *big* collection, so I don't care to use spotify or any apple stuff for music streaming, including podcasts.)

I am majorly enjoying these - enjoy seeing these smaller scale restauranteurs. Wonder if you could get some legends on too. Its also really cool having people (sorted folks) who've been there and done the cook book done the app done the live shows and even worked in restaurants - do the interviewing since you all have the good questions and can add your own take so its becomes a discussion rather than ridgid interview. Some body tell her that the actual issue for her feet being sore is needing orthotics - life changing and will prevent further damage

My mac and cheese family recipe has 4 ingredients (plus salt and pepper) and you don't make a roux/mornay for it (post WW2 recipe I guess). It's so comforting and tastes of my childhood, I could jazz it up but I know it'd be ruined if I did... the thought of all purpose in it makes me want to cry but I'd imagine that mac and cheese without all purpose would make Sian want to cry. It's really a dish that transcends recipes! Basically, mac and cheese (however you make it) is a great call for a dish everyone should cook

When working at a summer camp, they were keeping cookies in the oven in a plastic container, to keep them away from the animals. We unthinkingly turned the oven on to cook salmon, slightly melting the plastic. Since we were at camp, I ate some of the (not that great, commercial) cookies anyway.

Being bound by your job to dictate your diet kind of sucks, but it is understandable. My wife and I differ in our dietary preferences, and restrictions. She was for a few years vegan, then vegetarian, and now pescatarian. Vegan and vegetarian, we had to make two suppers every day, there is something in the beyond type "meat" that really really doesn't agree with me, and now pescatarian, (i am well aware this is very much a first world problem) but I'm kind of tired of salmon, and shrimp (common ingredients in atlantic canada), i like them both, just not all the time. Really good interview, i enjoyed it. Perhaps I'll book a table for two years from now to force me to save for the flights and accommodations i would need to get there. Haha
