My take is that sge doesn't run well under pressure. Give her lane 9, and she would. I am convinced that that was the strategy for Budapest. If you remember, well! She didn't beat Shericka before the final. I am also convinced that Shericka thought sge had the win and slowed to conserve energy for the 200m. This is not to say the USA Runner isn't talented!

@@user-uv6gt3xr1z Sherika is a professional athlete and has a naturally well trained body and mind by MVP to not conserve energy in a WORLD final just for another race. I think I remember the winning time was 10.65, explosive. Excuses, excuses. Everyone in that race had a chance to win and this time it was ShaCarri. Ninth lane because she qualifed for final by time and her relay leg was just as great but I guess Sherika was still conserving energy. Sherika is not stupid and she did learn her lesson in Tokyo. Comment about conserving energy makes these ladies sound like unschooled amateurs while instead they are rocking the track world running these great times. You may get a “monkey on your back” but you are not out there to conserve energy. ShaCarri ran well in college and after signing professional … smoking reefer was her demise then and possibly a screwed up mentality and emotions contributed as well since everybody knows that professionals will get tested - mentally she wasn’t ready … but she is ready now.

She’s not strong enough to double at the professional level, it’s that simple. Dennis has to do more work on strength and conditioning. Maybe she’ll never be a double sprinter. She’s not the only one, Treyvon Bromell, Shelly Ann and Christian Coleman have never won doubles at any competition. Flo-Jo broke the world record in the 100 and still won the 200 at nationals in 1988 but she also 400 meter strength. For any woman to break the 100 and 200 WRs they need to have sub 50 400 in them. Gabby Thomas is the only person currently running who has accomplished that.

ShaCarri can definitely sprint a great 200 although she is not the strongest or simply not the best in the 200. We have not seen her run a 400 or even a 300. In her races, she explodes after 50 metres but that is for 100 metres. She made the team in her strongest - the 100 - and will be on the relay. We sit back and talk about saving legs (in a sprint?) and round management, time management is very hard to determine because it is a sprint. Remember Sherika’s 200 at the Tokyo Olympics? She let up and got beat by time and effort and did not make the final. Sherika has proven as well as Gabby and Sydney you must have leg strength and endurance of a 400 sprinter so I agree about that. To take a chance while running against practically the same field of the 100 plus 2 or 3 dedicated 200 sprinters? Nah, she did just what she had to do with only .07 difference from trials to finals. Unfortunately, she got beat, it’s competition, everybody is hungry to reach the podium so you leave what you got on the track in the sprints. This video sounds to be a formal, sophisticated dig and shade on ShaCarri just as another blogger headlined: ShaCarri failed and now someone says ‘she too extra’. Daggone, stop it.

Your opinion is noted but it really doesn’t matter in the big picture! Here’s why; your idea of “saving her legs” while reasonable is basically dependent on the race itself! At the Olympics it’s likely going to take 3 rounds of decent effort, as she did here, and still be to be competitive in the final! If she faltered here, perhaps she would in Paris! It gave a stronger runner a chance to qualify! Then again I’ve seen where ShaCarri isn’t as sharp as she needs to be when she’s under the gun! Which is why I don’t think she will win in Paris!

Here is another thing people miss about/with ShaCarri…NERVES!! Yes! Of course if you’re in a race with people that you are better than your confidence is high and evident! When she’s in a race where there are 2 or more people of equal or better ability, she messes up! Something doesn’t go right, be it coming out the blocks, losing focus or whatever! She had it in Budapest in her semi of death, the Diamond league final, and she just had a couple in the 100 heats! Things worked out for her in Budapest but she’s not catching anyone off guard going forward! She’ll be under heavy pressure come the Olympics and I’m thinking pressure will burst pipes!

What the h£LL is she talking about 😮. ShaCarri Richardson is so much faster than every one else, she's been celebrating for ever. Also, T sister, When ShaCarri wins her 100 meter races and celebrates, ShaCarri always run pass the finish line and continue to run another 20 yards before she stops. That tells me she can run another 50 meters. Does that look like somebody tired. ShaCarri is not just the fastest 100 meters sprinter in the world, she's also the fastest 150 meter sprinter in the world. The world is glad there isn't a 150 meters race. It's been allegedly that ShaCarri whisper to McKenzie long after the 200 meter loss “I let you win because my mother also passed away last Olympics”. I don't know if this is true but I believe this. ShaCarri will beat Gabby and Shericks in the 200 meters World Championships in 2025. And ShaCarri will leave this Olympics with two gold medals.

Hey thats a real good excuse my sister, bout Sha-Sha's" tired 😫 legs 🦵, but sorry i just can't buy those tickets, so far in my imagination & opinion of what i know about her since her high school days, we have not seen "Sha-Sha" ran a complete 2 hundred meter race just yet since she turned pro 👌, that's number 1, i would tell you what i truly believe bout why she has decided to not give her all as of yet, but i want, cause after all, i'm not the "ALMIGHTY" & i still could be wrong in my opinion bout this or her situation, but way down inside my gut it screams out & tells me i"m not wrong bout why she has made this decision, not once, but twice so far in her professional career thus far, & yes i said it, this is not the first time but her second time of shutting it down in a championship race in the last two sessons 🤷👌, & i"ll just leave it at that. Amen 🙏 !!!
