it was May 30th when they played without Chris Mars. he went to an art show instead.

Chris is a millionaire artist now. He had a schizophrenic brother and his painting demonstrate that pathos.

I was at a Maxwell's show in '89 and Chris wasn't there...Somebody said that he had just gotten married...Paul handed my friend Leroy his guitar and Leroy launched into "Take Me Down to the Hospital"...After the show Slim said that he didn't know the tune...
