No really, it was so amazing. They actually made you feel like an assassin. It was always satisfying taking someone by surprise, or watching the person trying to kill you mess up and you just knock him tf out and run away 😂

Wish Ubisoft to bring back the multiplayer of AC keeping the DNA of older multiplayers.. Seems next year we're going to get some news. Hope they're really good 😉🙏

I used to be top 100 in both AC3 and AC4, I miss those times. Peak fun in (multiplayer) gaming for me.

I want it back so bad but I fear I'd be setting myself up for disappointment in expecting Invictus to be the multiplayer I fell in love with.

Thanks to skull and bones, assassins creed black flag original multiplayer is slowly coming back to life! Its even beating origins right now on steam charts! Please save the last remaining original multiplayers of the older assassins creeds in assasins creed:black flag! The multiplayer is still alive and theres dedicated players to it! Try at 9 a.m. - close to 12 am to try and find a server! Please save the multiplayer

Black flags multiplayer lives on! Try the servers at around 9:30ish and go from there! It still takes a second

Assassinate mode was better than wanted as you weren't forcefed your target,.you had to wait until you find someone messing up

Ong it was the best mode. Being able to identify and distinguish between which one is an NPC and which was the real player by seeing how they move and how out of place they were while blending in a group or npc’s. The smoke bomb and throwing knives, people able to stun them and then locking on them while they were downed, then waiting until the meter goes up to reach incognito and finding ways to maximize ur points per kill(a lot of people did poison). Also a lot of people rushed every kill, which allowed them to reach like 15k points by the end of the game which was a shit ton. The average person as like 5-7k

I don't think it'll ever come back, I loved it, but as unique and special as it could be, it was flawed and stayed niche and unapproachable. There's also clearly no interest from ub*shart or players. The game (depending on the mode but Wanted especially) breaks at "high" level play when people learn to optimize the fun out of it. The player in first has no reason to stick around and use social stealth because they're only giving other players a chance to score climb, cue everyone running/roofing because >2 pursuers means you can't beat them with abilities and one person running leads to the whole lobby running - now 3/4 abilities and core mechanics like blending are invalid, and everyone gets to sniff their own farts about how smart they are gaming the thrilling lag based flowchart of bait for stun(kill) > smoke (or mute if you're feeling daring) > abuse janky positioning > confirm. Back in the day this wasn't a problem because the huge knowledge gap between players meant you'd get all types of lobbies and you could do little creative plays, when you play it now (and you *can* still play it, depending on platform) it shows how scuffed it really was. Still though, the feeling of tricking someone with a decoy or getting a bench kill is unmatched. There's a diamond under it's crusty layer of janky shit, it was one of the earliest whodunnit style games eg amongus, and playing devil's advocate, could quite easily turn it itself into a battle royale type game if you wanted to please executives.

Yeah, perfectly summed up. Definitely had flaws and eventually there was a huge skill gap between some players, but still worth bringing it back for sure

Didn't play the older multi-player ones...they sound like they sucked. I did play Unity and loved it. So I wouldn't mind giving the others a go. An open world live service one would be great. Create my own assassin & run missions with the boys...& girls. Earn weapons & outfits or collect hides and materials to craft stronger gear. Get special style gear & weapons through the animus if you play their other titles.....let's go! This way all the single player cry babies still get their stories & us co-op trolls get in on some of the action. Everyone wins while they fill their pockets with our ducketz😂

They were so fun bruh, I wish I could play ac3 and ac brotherhood multiplayer. I just cbf hooking up my ps3. Idek if the servers still exist

⁠@@christiansmalley4977 dude it was so fun. I’ve been thinking about playing it for the past two years now, just never hooked up the ps3, but now that I know the servers are gone, makes me feel a lil sad, damn
