My sister, a feminist, is a real feminist who really believes in equality. She doesn't like to say she is one because she doesn't want to be associated with people like this. She believes that women and men should have to same sentence for the same crimes. She believes that women should be drafted if necessary. Historically speaking most men were slaves up until 1900s roughly. We were farmers, warriors, blacksmiths and would almost non-stop everyday to pay the bills and had no choice in the matter. Neither side had it easy historically.

My father taught me how to skate when I was 4yrs old, paid for my hockey fees and made all the trips to my Bantam A league games plus my out of town school games right up till I had stopped playing AA leagues after high school. He also bought me my first new computer when I was 15 and before that I had only an old PC he had used for work where I learned how to build computers. My father then paid for my plane ticket to move across the country where I started work for an oil company when I was 18yrs old and to this day have been completely independent straight from high school. If it had been up to my mother I would've had none of that. While I do not hate my mother it took her a divorce and 6yrs of not speaking to her before to realized she had been a bitch. See, we all have personal stories but they mean absolutely fuck all.

"Victim blaming" isn't a thing. It's called taking precautions, like how keeping fluids away from your electronics is being cautious. If you intentionally have a glass of water sitting next to your phone, it is your fault if it gets damaged by the water. Isn't it sexism against men and women? Women are stereotyped/assumed to be superior care givers and men in turn are assumed inferior. I think that kind of sexism hurts everyone because stereotyping curtails individualism and causes people to be viewed more as a member of their group and less as their own person.
