Love has no color.. But when you put Down your own ppl as to why you date out your ethnicity is extremely wrong, and Darlene gave off such a pleasant energy I doubt her being white was the reason he fell in love with her I’m pretty sure she’s loving and understanding

Proposing to someone on television should not be applauded unless they have been forewarned. It doesn't provide an opportunity for the other person to make a decision without feeling coerced.

By the way, thus was a fabulous and enlightening episide Not too much shouting and everybody had the opportunity to make their point clear. I am multinational/ multicultural myself, identity crisis was the main problem that i went through in my early teenage years I learnt to rise above the isues that can often arise through the ignorant attitudes of others. I live being mixed & Multi- talented also. I will say this, mixed race people MUST LEARN TO USE THEIR UNIQUE ETHNICITY TO THEIR OWN ADVANTAGE STAND TALL AND RISE ABOVE ANY NEGATIVITY THROWN AT YOU YOU ARE UNIQUE WITH SPECIAL QUALITES DON' T FORGET IT

I always heard black people say, "If you have one drop of black blood in you, you're black". We'll first of all, why does that only apply to the black race? Why don't anybody say that about Asian people or Hispanic,? Smh. Secondly, I have a rare bowel disorder and I've had 39 surgeries and 18 blood transfusions. ALL my blood transfusions were done in predominantly black cities; Cincinnati, Columbus and Little Rock. So it's safe to say at least 1/2 of those donors were black. Probably more but who the hell cares. Every day I wake up (I was given 3 months to live in the autumn of 1992) I thank the Good Lord for those 18 people because without them, I wouldn't know my grandsons or be here today. BUT...Am I now black? Cause that logic of "one drop of black blood" seems a little flawed cause clearly, I am Scandanavian, Irish and Hispanic.

Remember that these prejudices STILL exist in 2024. It's disgusting. 2 legal-aged consenting adults, no matter what race, colour, religion or gender- love is love. You can't help who you fall for. I'm a man that just so happened to fall in love with another man, nothing else to it. My big sister is biracial as my mother previously married a black man and when we were younger and would go into stores together, guess who security kept their eye on? Her- even though I was the one that would occasionally changed price tags for cheaper ones! She never had any true biracial role-model until the Spice Girls came along and all of a sudden the hair and skin colour she was bullied for was being admired and coveted. The world needs to grow up.

While I'm not a fan of public proposals (it wasn't funny being the one having to tell a boy I didn't like him back in front of others), this was lovely. And who let that man become a professor? Basic logic and debate appeared to be beyond him.

I used the, “cuz black women didn’t want me” excuse when I was younger to date non-black women but that was so ignorant. Even though my wife is Japanese, black women can contend with any other form of woman on this Earth and you are so beautiful

So the young man’s parents didn’t mind marrying each other regardless of their cultural differences, but they draw the line at him dating or marrying a black woman. You would think they would’ve been a lot more tolerant

28:26 - I just burst out laughing, the rest of the crowd was chuckling too. Brotha is on some real farrakhan, hotep, "let me talk to you for a minute sista" on the street corner type tip. Looks like an extra from the Malcolm X biopic starring Denzel back in 1992 😆😅 But all jokes aside, he's 100% on point
