Thanks! The goal is to throw all string trimmers in a pile and set them on fire. One hillside at a time!

This is great. I’m running a 4052R as well. Enjoyable and helpful. Thanks.

It was fun watching you work that box blade. I've got one ordered and should have it in about 4 weeks. Was planning on getting a top hydraulic top link, and after watching how you used yours I'm sold on it now. I've got a bunch of dirt I need to move around, and a 1200' long gravel driveway that I need to keep serviced.

What kind of box blade did you get? A hydraulic top link with a box blade is a MUST! The side link can be helpful, but I would say the top link is used far more than the side. Perhaps I should make a video about that at some point. Also what tractor do you have? Not sure if I know that or not?

@@IndyFarmLife I'm getting (just got the email today that it's been shipped, 12-14 week lead time) a Everything Attachments XTreme Duty 66" Box Blade For Utility Tractors With 30-70 hp. The tractor I'm getting in about 4 weeks (waiting on my house build to finish up) is a TYM T574HC, from a dealer in Crawfordsville IN. I've got the tractor reserved for me. I'm getting it with a 3rd function valve and loaded tires. I'm also picking up a set of 48" forks and a grapple from Express Steal in Martinsville IN. Probably going to get a used brush hog, and maybe a 7' tiller (my wheel base will be 66"). We live on a 16 acre farm with a 1/4 acre pond, a ditch (10' wide stream), and raise meat chickens (process about 90 a year), laying hens (60) and raised a couple of pigs this year (looking at going to 6 next year and steer the following year. My son, his wife and 5 kids live on 11 of the 16 acres, we're building our retirement home (I'm 64) on the other 5. Figure the farm will keep me occupied as I get older, and my house will have a woodworking shop (my hobby) to keep me busy as well. I'm currently (since March) renovating a 1972 Airstream Ambassador with my daughter and her husband. They'll be living in it full time in the next 3 weeks or so with their 2 year old son. He work 100% remote as an Architect so they plan on traveling a bunch. When I retired from the Army after 25 years, I took my family (4 kids, wife and 2 dogs) on a 22 month RVing excursion around the USA, and we spent a month in Germany. We home schooled our kids so I refer to the trip as our American History Trip. Love what your doing with your place, and how you keep improving on it.

The walnut tree looks pretty straight having competed for sunlight. If you have to drop it, mill it, finding straight black walnut trees is unusual.

It's not the straightest on our property (we have more than a dozen black walnuts) but it's a pretty good one. Fairly big. I hope we don't loose it! I had to drop one when we built our house and was able to take it for veneer. Some good money there!

If you can grade an area smooth enough to be mowed, it won't turn into a tangled mess of weeds. Using a string trimmer is never fun on a hot day with insects everywhere.

That's my hope! You didn't even have to add the last part. You could have ended it with "Using a string trimmer is never fun" ha
