I grew up watching Chris Farley movies and SNL career. He was simply one of a kind, no one was like him. The fact, that he died on his kitchen floor, alone. Breaks my heart, you spend your life. Making sure people laugh, is great. You never think about yourself, RIP

Chris Farley was a VERY sad tragic person. His whole life was just one big “heartbreak.” Even when he was supposed to be funny, it was sad because he only being the “overweight buffoon” all the time and he knew it and that hurt him very much. The Chippendale dancer skit was the perfect example of that. It hurt how much he hurt doing that skit

Chris will always be my favorite actor/comedian I remember the first time watching him in a movie starring him (Tommy Boy) with my pops and we couldn’t stop laughing ,I can always thank Chris for giving something for me and dad to bond over with. Chris was truly was a comedic genius of his time

Chris Farley was not a “comedic genius.” He was an overzealous buffoon who had his moments when he was funny but deep down he was sad tragic person. His life was completely out of control which led to his suspension from SNL… he didn’t have that much success outside of SNL. Tommy Boy was his only successful movie… it was all downhill for him after that

@@nsasupporter7557tommy boy and black sheep were successful, both movies brought in 32 mil, and that's a lot for a 1990s movie considering around that time movie ticket prices were on average of 4$, but if they did that movie in today's world with each ticket costing like 10-12$ box office sales would be way higher

You didn’t know much about him, did you? His career was on the verge of going down… his only successful movie was Tommy Boy, everything he did after that was a massive flop! Black Sheep, Beverly Hills Ninja, Almost Heroes etc those movies tanked big time! I know that he was scheduled to voice Shrek, but honestly that would’ve been a flop too… Mike Myers was much better. So in response to what you said, he wouldn’t have made anymore movies at all if he had lived… and if he did do more movies it would’ve probably only been in “supporting characters” or “extra characters.” And in response to your statement about him getting out of his heroin addiction… he planned his death 😳🫤 it wasn’t ever specified, but I personally think his death was planned. John Belushi was his idol and he wanted to do everything like him, even die like him and what’s really eerie is that he was the same age as Belushi when he died.

The title of this documentary would make one think that the contents of the documentary shows how there's a shady element of the comedy scene that comics are forced to endure.... some make it through....some do not.... Was it 'Comedy' that drove Chris to end up like this??? Should be titled "Tragic Stories of Comedians"

Not to sound rude but yes he really was a buffoon and that’s part of why and how he was such a sad tragic person. That’s how he acted most (if not, all) of the time.
