Rock returned to wrestling because the new company of TKO offered him a place on their executive board, the rights to "The Rock" name and a ton of shares in the company. Even if Rock was beloved by people in Hollywood, he would have still returned to WWE for Wrestlemania 40 because the offer was too big to turn down.

Correct. The Rock's films have grossed 10.5 Billion, and most of that has been in recent years. His rise to the board of TKO and return at WM40 has been in the works for a year, the strike just opened up his schedule enough to allow it. And it was his decision to not endorse Biden this time, that has resulted in the sudden negative spin rhetoric about him now coming out of the showbiz industry media---such as Armin's post.

That's actually what most people agree was the case, he needed to get back to the basics to try and build up some good will, people said he kinda got black balled by Hollywood after Black Adam. So he reignited wrestling, got some good will back, and most importantly made something like close 50 million in cash and stock options in TKO holdings for what was maybe 3 months of work.

Dwayne’s production company hasn’t had a single blockbuster hit. He’s been chasing it but I just think the ppl he has access to aren’t the ones that’ll help him achieve that. They’re ppl that are leftovers in the industry because all the good ones are under major studio contracts or are already established talents. He needs to establish bigger partnerships ABs be willing to take a pay cut in order to position himself into a better more profitable trajectory.

Everybody says Dwayne Johnson is the biggest star in Hollywood isn't true, he never was. Tom Cruise is the biggest star in Hollywood, has been for a long time. He's been labeled as the last remaining movie in Hollywood. But also, some Actors just cut out to movie stars, but instead Television stars. Maybe Dwayne Johnson is one of them.
