This is how they should ALWAYS plays this song - a slower version than they use to play on other tours. Tumbling Dice sound amazing on this video, best Rock and Roll band ever.

You're right. This is the perfect tempo for this song, it makes every part of it sound better and more in place.

And when it came out in the great summer of my youth 1972..the summer they did they're Exile on Main St. US tour ending right here in Madison Square Garden..top ticket prices purposely kept affordable ($6.50) this song did not even hit #1. I think maybe it got to #3 or something..long time ago. I remember asking my friend Frank a really fantastic guitar player older than me and he said if it was a couple of years ago that song would have been #1. Tastes were changing.,. That whole album didn't really have anything that was really Refined Top Ten Hit material. In the neighborhood I was in no one was impressed..there wasn't anything at the Sticky Fingers level that all races said wow.

@@merseybeat1963 How nice of you to pass along your experience. Thank you. Just my humble opinion, BUT . . . I truly believe the Stones will go down in history as the "greatest rock band of all time". I know some think that honor will always go to the Beatles, but not I.

@@anemoi9I don't know they have really put out so much inmemorable stuff since 1971 that in future people will listen to and will trash them They instead of going after a high standard of music they just went for the money . The Beatles had they continued may have tarnished they're legacy as the Stones did but they stopped while still tops. The Beatles are like Babe Ruth Jimi Hendrix and Johnny Unitas..unquestionable.Cheers.
