I love the “show within a show” idea too… the girl at the couch is horrified at the violence but still wants to watch the show, while the guy just wants some action with her and clicks the remote back to the Stones’ music video … and then when the parents burst in, the dad has a white military uniform, like he could be one of the corrupt generalísimos right out of the TV show that she was watching… brilliant!

Yes, sir. Exactly. All tracks are so satisfying, they take you to a new level of musical completeness!.. The complete B side of the album is killing, and especially the 3 last songs "Too tough" , "All the way down" , "It must be hell", hold the passwords to decrypt Mick & Keith's one-of-a-kind universe

Absolutely. I think not touring to promote the album and get the music out there was what doomed it to obscurity outside of Stones devotees (although given the then current state of the band, it may have been a wise choice).

I was listening to him in an interview on English radio & he was talking as if he STILL considers his drumming with the Stones as a "temporary" thing! It was like he was talking from back in the 60's when they bought him in as a temporary replacement & he was just waiting to get back to his beloved Jazz!

Hard to believe the Undercover album is nearly 40 years old. For me the last great stones album, full of great guitar riffs and had a great groove all the way through. The world tours seemed to take over from the album quality from the late 80,s onwards but by then there was plenty classics in the bank !!!!!!! Greatest band ever for me.
