[👁️🎴] . • . Every art style change its intentional. It's up to your interpretation the reason why. You can leave your theories below! I have mixed feelings about Kikimora. Like, the only thing she is in the Coven is an "assistant", yet we have seen her do a lot for the Emperor. And she remains in the same rank. I have a feeling that she might have been Coven Head if it wasn't for Lilith, nor Hunter. And despite my hate for her, I did this animatic in a span of 2 weeks and a half. Pretty rushed, to be honest. But I liked the end result, hope you like it too! [ 👁️🎴] . • . I think I noticed a pattern. Lilith is most of the time with her back facing the camera so that could mean that she is totally against the coven. That also means that Hunter can't fully decide which way to go, his side profile shows instead of fully facing or fully against. Great job on that plus the rest of the animatic!

It’s like the title thing! Lilith is on one side, showing she’s against it. Hunter is in the middle, meaning he is somewhere in the middle, and Kiki is on the other end. The creator did say that “Kiki isn’t what she seems” or something along those lines.

‘Kikimora has seen his face once, and once only’ Oh man. Imagine seeing the Emperor and realizing that he looks remarkably like the Golden Guard, even before she may have known Hunter was his nephew. I feel like Kiki, with all her jealousy towards Hunter, probably assumes that Hunter is actually his bastard son, because I can’t see her ‘understanding’ Hunter rising to such a high position while she’s overlooked as JUST the ‘nephew’. I wonder if she even is supposed to know, in canon, that they’re related. We know she’s eavesdropped but who knows if either one has ever said ‘Uncle’ or ‘Nephew’ while within earshot of her.

fjsdjfjsd as someone who loves kikimorra and the potential she holds as a character this is absolutely awesome. im guessing that maybe the messier lineart signifies someone who doesn't quite know their morals, and hunter's style is him knowing that he must side with the wild witches? or maybe that in this entire song originally, the audience isn't quite sure if this really is hamilton or how burr percieves him, so that's why hunter is so intimidating? hhhh anyways i love she

Again, Kikimora and Burr have a lot of similarities. Both have an ambitious rival who has won the favour of their superior without (in their opinion) really needing to work for it

I absolutely love this piece. I also want to coment on hfew things: -how much I like the design of transformed belos. It's... So fitting. I find it absolutely stunning with how you sraw it. I felt a shiver looking at it and had to go back and pause the video to get all the details. Outstanding. -Hunter being shallowed by the goo and turning into Belos: its so... Eerie. But also so interesting of a concept. Does this mean Kikimora fears Hunter will be one day somebody who will become the next Belos? (understandable, as he is Belos next in kin, thus, heir to the isles). -The whistle detail on the sounds and her face at the end. I loved her crazed look. She is on a frenzy to kill hunter and I want to see what comes next. -Belos' reaction when he is presented the helmet of the golden Guard. I am a sucker for good dad belos, and that scene hit me. I could perfectly imagine Belos having a breakdown after dismissing Kiki. Or even without dismissing her. Him just staring at the helmet and going numb.

Two things I noticed: 1: When hunter does the (you get love for it, you get hate for it), he shows the owl house and the gang as the love, and the emperors coven as the hate. 2: Kikimoras design changes on[ Hold your nose and close your eyes) her features, like her lines are more jagged and straight, compared to her rounder, cleaner lines at the beginning.

Man, I honestly love how Kikimora progressed throughout season two. She was always jealous of the Golden Guard, wanting to take his place that she doesn’t think he really deserves, and even tries to kill him out of hatred. She became extremely unhinged, being constantly paranoid about the golden guard appearing in Eclipse Lake. She doesn’t learn her lesson at the parade either, still wanting that power. However, by the end of season two, although we don’t see her all that much, we realize that she actually knows all of Belos’s secrets, claiming to always be listening. She probably realized quicker than we thought that the position/prestige of the Golden Guard wasn’t actually worth it, and by the end of King’s Tide, she’s even willing to help King in order to, in her words, kick the emperor’s butt.

This aged really well with Kikimora revealing she just casually knew all of Belos' dark secrets like the Collector and the Golden Guard Grave Pit, yet still wanted to be a Belos' right hand

I think maybe she knew about the whole grimwalker thing, but has no idea who the heck Caleb is or why he's important, and can't understand why belos keeps cloning and replacing the *same* annoying kid when there are plenty of loyal witches (such as herself) he can use

As someone whose second favorite character is Kikimora, and is also kind hoping that Hunter goes the way of Simon Laurent, this was an animatic that I very much enjoyed. I know it’s not a very popular opinion, but I think that Kikimora is a lot more interesting than Hunter

the way the lines get messier after a bit, and the eyes get more sinister looking? holy shit!!! it's like kikimora is really on the path of her own destruction if she can take everyone else down with her and that's so fucking eerie. especially the hunter to belos transition, giving that weird feeling of her this is probably something not only hunter said to her now but BELOS too, because she can't make up her mind due to her desires yet loyalty to not upset the emperor. literally so lovely.

AHHHH ITS SO SMOOTH✨✨✨ I was having a bad day and this was absolutely amazing! I live the glitching and how the border gets darker and darker as we near the end of the song. Too me this symbolizes the paranoia Kikimora holds towards Hunter and that this makes her view “twisted” (hence the glitching and the transition of Hunter turning into Belos) its very fun and just *chef’s kiss*

I had to show this to others. This animatic may have been rushed, but it still creates an amazingly interesting story. This feels like an entire different concept from Hamilton. The way that Hunter talks to Kikimora makes them both sound like the villain, which left me stumped as to who was the real villain from that point of view. This was honestly one of the best animatics i've seen by far.

Okay this might be wrong buuuttt based on the description (That Titan's Blood belongs to...), I think the change is something like Kikimora's goal slowly forming from a *need to be useful* into a *want to be in power/revenge* ("What do you want, Burr") so some sort of obsession idk. But in 1:53 (glitch) there is no Belos on the throne. Only Kikimora is in the room ~where it happens~. Sooo maybe as time passes, she doesn't care about serving the Emperor, she just wants to be in power so sheee does everything she can. THIS IS SO GOOD THO I LOVE IT

She's a character that while you hate her for her actions you can't help but like her character because she's well done and fleshed out. That's what makes owl house so good is that their characters are so fleshed out when you meet them that you can't help but appreciate the character. Even if you hate the actions they're taking. This shows why she’s always trying to prove herself and trying to overthrow Hunter. I feel like Kikimora has already started to go a little crazy in the Emperor’s Coven. Bc I remember Steve saying something like “Don’t join the emperor’s coven. Steve is starting to regret his choices..” Some ranting for you Also, is it just me, or doesn’t Kikimora have a curved, sharp underbite with one tooth on her right side? I think it’s just me, but it showed her mouth in the Eclipse Lake episode. Just for reference! Also, I know this might be too much, but could you do a tutorial on how to draw basic heads, necks, and shoulders? Also dang lemme go rewatch to see you added the tooth! AHA! My suspicions are right!! I love your animations. You draw the characters just *mwah chefs kiss* and this animatic makes me want to violently kick Kikimora and then give her a handshake

I think everyone over-heroizes hunter (And victimizes in some aspects) and over-villainizes kikmora. Hunter is still an antagonist, chalk full of trauma, sure, but still an antagonist nonetheless. Kikimora is in a difficult spot too. They are both equally antagonistic and neither are good people.

@The Big Bee not really. if anything, it’s more reinforced (with kiki’s family issues and such). i’d still consider them roughly equal.

well, kiki is a full-grown adult who could make her own choices, while hunter was basically brainwashed. also, in Follies at the Cover Day Parade she didn't really care about her family at all and was obviously faking it. i'm not looking for trouble or anything, and you made this comment awhile ago, so i was just giving my two cents :)
