Those blowing laptops is the result of gaming laptops being made way too thin, leaving no room for cooling. The laptop manufacturers don't realize that if they make the laptop 5mm thicker, that not only will the problem be solved, but also that people will buy these slightly thicker laptops precisely because it is not sizzling. I'm looking for a really fast laptop and then you quickly end up with the gaming laptops but I don't buy these because they are all hissing

under volt, power cap, downclock it a 10% and get a loss of 5 -10% in fps . I have a 150W GPU and 90W CPU laptop, I downclock it when ever required and overclock it when ever required. Recently I stumble upon an online video, which made me possible to lock GPU temp. now my laptop is cool and quiet.

you can customize the settings for the gpu and cpu to make it a literal non-issue without losing significant performance in this laptop. Takes like a minute to set up in software included on the laptop.

I have the 2021 model with the 3060, these laptops run REALLY hot. So hot to the point i had it shut down on me a couple times. Beware if you plan on getting one, invest in a cooling pad if you can because this laptop runs as hot as the sun.

need to take it off of turbo mode. I have the 2022 AMD g14 and in the settings you can customize everything and lower temps and wattage used without losing any performance really.

It automatically lowers the performance so as to reduce quick battery drainage. You can't really expect to play cordless on laptops with modern day graphic cards unless you got a car battery inside

I was not a fan of the heat n loudness of the rtx 3050 laptops i tried. I prefer my gtx 1650 ti laptop over the rtx 3050 laptops i tried cause they keep it cool better, less noise and better battery life. But at the same time im not a competitive person and 60hz Full HD is enough for me

Midrange phone now is $600-$700. The worst thing is that people are willing to pay crazy money for something that is not worth half the price. So prices just sky rockets.

Not like last years model. Cooling system is definitely better this year but the fans still get pretty loud but mostly at maximum load.

A registry edit to disabling CPU boost fixes that right up.

Just get a cooling pad ... There are no gaming laptop in this world which don't get hot , cooling pad is a necessary product if u are buying a laptop

@@vitadude5004this. i immediately bought a cooling pad the same time i got my msi cyborg 15, and when gaming the cpu gpu is 5 to 10 'C cooler than without the 10$ cooling pad

Rtx 4060 is all I've tried for this year's models. I had an AMD GPU version last year and I'll take this one over that for sure :)

@@midasgamespace it really is odd. Bestbuy only ever sells the white version, which is location I think most people buy it from here in the U.S.

@@lawrenceyeung3381 But for gaming yes, 16 inch is alright, almost the same as the 15,6 but 15,6 has 16:9 scale, and 16 inch has 16:10 so vertical sides is a little bit bigger
