*Who are we?*
We’re Victoria & Craig! In 2021, we decided that we needed to make life a little more exciting, so we bought a used fifth wheel and completely renovated it. Then, we sold our house in Tallahassee, Florida and hit the road full time in our RV! We’ve traveled all around the United States (and Baja Mexico!) and fell in love with boondocking in our RV at the most beautiful places. In 2023, we upgraded to a brand new Brinkley RV Model Z 3100. You’ll always find us on some kind of outdoor adventure, whether it’s hiking the Grand Canyon, rock climbing in Yosemite or surfing the shores of Baja Mexico. Subscribe to our channel (bit.ly/3ssOjGT) to follow along on our full time RV living adventures!

That was a bucket for heavy equipment or a dump truck bed. Mining equipment most likely. I’m here for all the random prison references lol so funny Craig & Victoria!

We did Pistachio Land a couple years ago and it's definitely a fun stop, we recommend it too! Craig, you and them flippity flops are killing me. Put some darned shoes on when you're dumping!!! You're gonna wind up with poopsie toes one day! For a water tip, we'll catch the water used waiting for the shower to heat up and use that for washing dishes or a toilet flush. Boondocking is all about the water use! Safe travels kids!!!

Shorter hair makes showering quicker Craig! OR you could be like me with NO hair. That makes it really quick! One thing I didn’t like about the on/off switch in the shower was that it always came out cold at first. That Brinkley really is beautiful.

Here is a second vote for the Aquaview ShowerMi$er.. runs cold water right back into your freshwater tank with an indicator when the water is hot. Pretty easy to install yourself.. should be able to find in a lot of RV stores.

I open gray water valve as when dumping and capture it into a large container and keep it in bathroom for flushing. Also in many states it’s LEGAL to dump gray water almost anywhere. As it should be. No different than washing a vehicle.

Maveriks started out as just a regular car gas station. They have recently (past few years) started opening the trucker style gas stations. If you get their app you can see which stations have the RV/Trucker islands, dumps, etc. (In case you didn't already have it,) It was a rock dump bed. Safe Travels.

Rosie and I have been together a little over 54 years. We started travelling back when I was in the Army when we first married. Cue 66 Mustang, a song I wrote of our wandering from fort to fort while I trained troops for our war in Vietnam. Now we currently have a Brinkley Z3100 and are winding our way home to Wisconsin after spending the last four and a half months boondocking outside of Yuma, Az at the LTVA. We are staying a week in Deming NM where for 10 dollars a day we are also boondocking. Burlington Bill busking on the road and on you tube. Enjoy the music.

If you ever get to South Dakota in the summer you have to stop at Mitchell to see the world’s only Corn Palace. Every summer they decorate the outside of the building (it’s the gym for the local college - Wesleyan College if I recall correctly) with corn of different colors yellow, red, blue and black to crest tableau’s of that year’s theme. It’s kitschy, but still definitely worth taking the time to see.

We boondock 4-6 months on our property in Baja. Composting Toilet, lots of Solar, water plants with our Grey Water, 1000 gal water tanks for showers, propane refill once per month, haul drinking water from town weekly when we go for supplies. When travelling 2 weeks is our max for water and propane. We also travel on weekends and sometimes will travel Wednesdays to get caught-up. We have a Shorts showing our Baja setup. Enjoy and safe travels. Christian & Tracey.

That big thing was mining equipment. We fill up our hot water pot (for tea) before we shower to run the cold water out. We also use paper plates and paper bowls to save water. Also, we wipe the grease and stuff out of pans with paper towels before we wash. It saves some water that way. And we're not even boondocking! We're just in a campground with no sewer hook ups. LOL We love the Moab area. There's so much to see around that area. Can't wait to see next week.

Do you have a blue boy so you can do a tank tank dump? As for saving water I have an idea. I don’t know if it’s a good idea but here I go. Use a dish pan in your kitchen sink for doing your dishes. When done with doing the dishes use that dish water to flush the toilet on those #2’s. Any thoughts my friends? A 2 for 1. Lol 😂 get it? #2 for #1. Thats just funny there. 😊

My nearby Maveriks in AZ don't have truck pumps or RV facilities. Rumor is they will build a larger one this year.

It’s funny that since we saw that one, we’ve seen at least 2-3 more like that!

I truly love you two and your channel, so I hate my comment, but… if you are paying it is NOT Boondocking. The whole definition of Boondocking is paying nothing for the camp spot. There is a term for camping without services either paying or free, that is “dry camping” which is what you are doing in this video ;) Please keep up the GREAT videos, I just love you guys. P.S. regarding paper products… remember that doing that simply fills up landfills faster. There are methods of cleaning dishes without using as much water…. It’s much nicer to the environment we all love to enjoy when camping… food for thought…

We’re not one to get caught up in semantics (truly meant in a super chill way), because we have always read and seen the definition of boondocking as camping with no hookups on public land, which is what this is. Some public lands have transitioned to designated dispersed sites, or even require a permit (like this spot), but that may mean that those spots don’t “count” as boondocking to some people but it’s all good! We’ll probably still call it boondocking and continue to annoy people who care 😆 thank you for watching and glad you are enjoying them!

@@wildrvlife you don't annoy me in the least, I am informed enough to understand what you are doing and how to do it. My only concern is for your rates with those new to your channel that are not as well-informed. They might hear you refer to boondocking as something you have to pay for and then just dismiss you as not being informed. A simple change in terminology to something like dry camping can accurately convey to your new viewers how informed and knowledgeable you two are on the subject. Just a thought, do with it as you like. The only thing I know is I will keep watching y'all because y'all are great!

That is a new State Park under construction. That particular area will be part of the state park. Several other free BLM and State Trust boondocking spots around. Also several paid BLM dry campgounds. Some really nice ones on the Colorado river south of your site and just outside Moab. Hopefully you got to both National Parks and Dead Horse Point SP. The SP has great E & W campsites. Also, ride your bikes on the trail from your location to Arches NP and then down to and east on the Colorado river.

How do you like the ladder mount Starlink? Going to be doing a similar set up and curious how you are running the cord inside?

It works really well for us. We have the router in the underneath storage plugged in, and there is an access hole that leads outside that we run the cable thru.

Hey you two...Be sure to hike the Fisher Towers and Corona Arch trails...ESPECIALLY Fisher towers! If you guys are still around Moab. Dead Horse is great hike and biking too....hike Fisher Towers to the wooden sign thats on a rock and it will say "Trails End"! Does have a ladder part so if you take the pups be aware of that. All three places are dog friendly leashed of course...You wont regret it!!! Oh and Corona Arch also has laddered area too plus steep chain hand rail climb....Dead Horse is a pay entry so be aware of that.

@@wildrvlife Yes I LOVE Moab...Utah for that matter...So much beauty in that state...Glad you guys did that hike! Corona Arch is worthwhile too and FREE!!! When we were at Fisher towers last time we met a couple that climbed the shear walls of the first really tall rock structure...there went to the very top of where the lone hoodoo was ...and they were swinging around up there on their ropes...AMAZING! Too high for my comfort!

If you rinse your dishes into a bucket and shower with a bucket to catch the water, that water can flush your toilet. We’ve found we can go longer than 2 weeks on our waste tanks by doing this.
