Great history lesson! As an Avs fan, we had some rough years and have tried really hard to appreciate every playoff and every W. Especially having a good friend from San Jose. He's so beat down, that if the Sharks could get even close to the dance, it would add years to his life- poor bastards

Colorado should have never been given the Nords...It destroyed the best era of NHL hockey in Canada and it was a decision that pandered to U.S. money...The Nordiques could have been saved, but political bad decisions killed them...

This is supporting evidence that this problem is far far beyond a sports franchise , it very interesting to a more involved study from the above mentioned perspective 🤔

I can only tell you I have 41 years covering this team and they suck 24-7 in every social or complex context

To support the previously mentioned perspective , one would have to think that based on just cycling of the league combined with hall of fame talent over the years , well they just have a slightly better record as well as a couple of bigger events in 57 years ………… like I said this is alarming bad to the point where actually becoming interesting in a social context

Okay 50+ year old Vancouver has never won a cup, 50+ year old buffalo has never won a cup and Canadian teams in general haven’t won a cup in over 30 years. Keep seething buddy
