super cool going back and analysing past shark tank deals, it's also amazing to see your consistency over the years, you say that the deal was not a handout and that you genuinely believed in the vision of the company and his pitch, something which you also argued for in that episode when it happened. keep the content coming i love watching these analyses!

Daymond you are very right about what you say. The 3 more "tech" sharks want to hear more about the tech side. Lori and you saw the human part and believe in the guy. They are upset because you didn't let them get to the point they are comfortable. Sometimes and a very few times you have to have some faith in the people running the show and trust them. The tech side wasn't going to move you or Lori, so not hearing that part wasn't to influence your decision. Kudos to both of you, hope you're doing great with this app.

How many times has Cuban gave an offer, and stressed that they either take the offer right then, or he's out. Yet he's whining cause he didn't have the chance to jump without questioning this smart young man a little further ! Lori n Damond beat them to the punch. 😂
@poopoogamer1232
@poopoogamer1232 2 жыл бұрын
But the difference is the Cuban waits till the end of the pitch to make an offer. The other sharks were still asking questions when Lori offered. Yes, Cuban says things like “Say yes or no right now” just like Lori, but he waits till the end of the pitch
@msc2479
@msc2479 Жыл бұрын
@@poopoogamer1232 but Daymond's point still stands. Him & Lori hv heard enough at that point to make an offer, acted upon it & give the guy exactly what he asked for. Meanwhile, the other 3 needed to hear more to decide. In a way Mark's method is essentially the same. By giving ppl an ultimatum if they so much as hear another offer then he's pulling out which still robs pitchers of their options

This was a great pitch and Gray did give all the Sharks time to ask questions. We watched it with my Business Education students in St. Louis, and they really enjoyed the scooping. Hi Daymond!! Just subscribed!! I probably have watched every Shark Tank episode and this is probably the most memorable for me. I loved it. It reminded me of the golden ticket on America's got Talent. It really was a feel good moment until they all walked off! It makes sense that Lori would be the first to help because women are generally more compassionate than men. I'm so happy you got involved as well. Mark and Robert was a case of, "if they can't have it they don't want anyone else to have it." Their ego got the best of them. How many times has Mark made an instant offer and then put the presenter on a 5 second timer. Answer: Lots

Hey Daymond, I am a college student, I was skeptical about Scholly now I can't wait to try it. It's nice to hear about your background, similar to mine and many other hard-working individuals. It only makes you stronger! Very thankful that you all care about the future generations and others that have in some ways "walked in your shoes". This video is very insightful and motivating. I do see what you mean about them being too close in knowing "too much" about the tech side. However, in my opinion I love that in this scenario you see the bigger picture, helping students gain a useful tool towards applying for scholarships. Just think of how many lives you guys have already changed.. I'm sure they will never forget that! Hopefully I will be one of them. Anyways, just like you, I cannot wait to give back to kids and young adults just like me who have had to struggle and need a little nudge of opportunity. I'm hoping to become successful enough in my lesson program to grow my business and purchase land to build on. My end goal is to change some lives, give back just as some of my mentors gave me opportunities that I will never forget. I hope to give a couple hardworking kids a place they can call home and grown up on a farm the life I always dreamed of! Sorry for the sappy post :D Just happy to know there are good people out there helping others! :) Keep on Keeping on!!! :) Sincerely, Mirisa D

The walk off to cool off for me is ok if he really couldn't handle his emotions there, but he should've at least asked to be excused or something. And the other two who followed, that was just childish to me. The boycotting was overly dramatic, didn't suit their professionalism.

I love this video. I could not understand what the hell happened in that room and why those 3 men threw such a hissy fit. I mean, Cuban actually did hand out charity by giving that Malayasian entrepreneur 50k for her mother. But now I understand that those three guys were about to do their typical, pick them apart schtick to show how smart they are, and Lori sensing that the kid was about to get savaged, felt protective and blocked the sharks. And they were pissed they couldn't play their little game of "I'm smarter than you." LOOOOOL!!!! White men are so insane.
