it's not government though, it's a hired private security force by the institute of Cetacean Research. because "Research" is so lucrative that they can afford 3 harpoon vessels, 1 fueling vessel, 1 Processing vessel and 1 Security vessel. they just put Government on it, as a form of physiological warfare.

v12tommy I don’t always agree with their methods. But they are giving their lives to saving marine life. Mostly the endangered life. I mean if u eat any kind of fish, then enjoy it while u can. Because they r being so over fished as well as the endangered species, that we will run out of fish. I personally don’t eat any meat. Some due to animal cruelty in life and in death. But I also have a disease called gastroperesis. It’s a paralyzed stomach. Basically if I eat, the food sits in my stomach and doesn’t digest or move out of the stomach. So I get very very sick and throw up for hours. So I have a feeding tube with two ports. One I put my liquid ensure into, and the other is to drain anything like digestive juices. But I never ever have liked the smell or taste of any fish or marine animal at all. But my main point is if not for people like them, we would run out of fish. Biologists have proven that since lockdown for a few months, marine life has made a huge comeback. They said it goes to show that the oceans r being over fished and we will run out and end many species.

Both are risking their lives, both are acting illegally, and both sides sound retarded crying about who's right or wrong. If you shoot at me with a gun and I run to my neighbors house kick in the door and steal his AR-15 to defend myself regardless of how the gun fight turns out I'm still expecting a breaking and entering charge as well as a theft of a firearm charge as well. Wrong is wrong under any circumstances, and both sides are heavily in the wrong. Message to both sides, you reap what you sow.

The whaling fleet is now capable of prop fouling Sea Shepherd and it’s extremely difficult to prop foul them, especially at night, when running the risk of getting hit by a swinging grappling hook and getting a black eye from a rod. You were never there and Japan is still filtering information of their illegal activities so that citizens don’t even know how their tax is being spent, especially the misuse of the relief funds that came from around the world.

And it worked out so well for them: "The sinking was a cause of embarrassment to France and President François Mitterand. They initially denied responsibility, but two French agents were captured by New Zealand Police and charged with arson, conspiracy to commit arson, willful damage, and murder. It resulted in a scandal which led to the resignation of the French Defence Minister Charles Hernu, while the two agents pleaded guilty to manslaughter and were sentenced to ten years in prison." BTW, a decent (mechanical) engineer should be able to design a 'torpedo'. Those whaler boats look like easy targets.
