Frank is to ramen as George Motz is to hamburgers! Great vid, and I am surprised that the ramen was so inexpensive! That duck ramen is a first for me--never seen it before, and it looks like the shop was very accommodating to your for recording their processes. Just super, guys!

Great to see Frank again! Always fantastic to see revisiting guests, especially someone as ramen-enthusiastic as Frank. The way he smiles when he watches Shinichi and Satoshi tuck in… Frank knows exactly what the two gents are smelling, tasting, feeling and experiencing. Ramen bond only ramen enthusiasts will understand.

I can't remember the last time a video made me want to try the food so much. The ramen just looked so perfect and sounds like it was great. I really wish good ramen was more accessible in my part of the US.

@@NamaJapan I do now. It was nice to watch chef prepare the ramen to get an idea of how it should be done authentically. Some of the ingredients might be hard for American's to get but even making your own basic broth would be a big improvement. I'm always upset when i see what people here think is good ramen.

2022.09.16 Really enjoyed watching this episode. Wondering only with the special duck meat ramen with the duck-flavored soup; despite the pork wanton etc., would this entry be emphasized further if the egg has been duck egg? Of course, we may need to caution on the calories in a duck egg. Thank you, for a wonderful presentation.

Are there any popular ramen shops in Japan that offer meatless ramen? I eat fish and seafood, but not meat. Shops like Danbo have vegan options outside of Japan..not in Japan sadly :( also, Frank is great at critiquing food. He really has a way with words

My country lifted mask wearing requirements about a month ago… but most people still wearing them most of the time….probably people got used to it and will take time to adjust when I visited Istanbul about 2mths ago where measures were pretty relaxed ..many were still wearing mask
