7x3x3 inch pan
Baking paper
Black Raisins - 2 tbsp (30g)
Golden Raisins - 2 tbsp (30g)
Dried Cranberries - 2 tbsp (30g)
Dried Blueberries - 2 tbsp (30g)
Dried chopped Apricot - 2 tbsp (30g)
Chopped Cherry - 2 tbsp (30g)
Green Tutti Frutti - 2 tbsp (30g)
Red Tutti Frutti - 2 tbsp (30g)
Orange juice - 3/4 cup (175ml)
Cashew nuts - 30g
Walnuts - 30g

For Molasses:
Sugar - 2 tbsp
Jaggery - 2 tbsp (30g)
Water - 1/4 cup

All-purpose flour - (1 + 1/4) cup (150g)
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Cinnamon powder - 1/2 tsp
Clove powder - 1/4 tsp
Ginger powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
Unsalted Butter - 100g
Sugar - 1/2 cup (120g)
Fresh curd - 1/2 cup (110g)
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Strained Juice - 2 tbsp (30ml)
Lemon zest - 1/2 tsp
Orange zest - 1 tsp

Hi, if I want to replace curd with milkmaid for eggless version, what would be the quantity? As condensed milk is sweet, do we need to decrease the amount of sugar? Secondly, if i want to make with egg in place of curd, how many eggs (both eggwhites and yellow part) are needed?

Hey, so in the end you brushed the cake with orange juice, will it not reduce the shelf life of cake? And what exactly will the shelf life of this cake. Awesome recipe btw , loved the texture ❤

Hi there, I'm glad you enjoyed the recipe! Using orange juice to brush the cake add flavor and moisture, Generally, a well-wrapped cake last 2-4 days at room temperature and up to a week in the refrigerator.

Hi there, 😊 Yes, absolutely, you can bake it in a kadhai, I've made eggless vanilla cake in kadhai, and you can see its baking with a glass lid that I've demonstrated. It's a very interesting video. Be sure to check it out; the link is provided in the description.

Plum cake or Plum pudding. This is just another creation of fruit cake, popular during Christmas season. Baked with fruits and sugar, natural to tastes yummy. Plum cake/Pudding's recipe is far from what is shown here in the video. It takes Alcohol, beef fat, and 6 to 7 hours of steaming in round bowl shape mounds. Prepared well advance christmas season and stored in cool and dry place. It's served warm with brandy sauce. Anything other than that is imitation. Enjoy it.

Hi there, For a dense texture in your plum cake, omit the baking soda( as I have shown in my video featuring a dense plum cake). If you prefer an airy texture, you can include 1/4 tsp of baking soda in your recipe.😊

Replace 1/2 cup curd with two eggs, and if you prefer to omit molasses, substitute brown sugar for white sugar. Furthermore, this molasses won't impart bitterness to your cake, so there's no need to worry about that.😊
