Chez....as an old judo...grappling...powerlifting and highland games guy....i never really took a ything serious....my wife of 39 yrs shared in my gypsy live life attitude...we lived each day as if it was our last and when I had life support removed after her body shut down I remembered her words tome. " if I leave you first in life, live on and honor me by not wasting time and above all...love life" I truly believe it was my look on the Brightside and laugh about most situations that helped me cope with her passing. Live...love and extend you hand to your fellow man with a smile........

I used to train with a guy that worked out every single day for 2 hours (including boxing) and sometimes some 10 mile runs once a week and he ate like shit quite often but still was fit and had lots of energy and he was 35 at the time. If you train your ass off and don't stress about things i'm sure you can get away with shit

Honestly that’s the secret formula I’ve seen for a lot of great athletes. 90% of the time they’re on their game when it comes to training and diet yet, most all had some type of splurge to balance out the tremendous amounts of mental stress.

I just discovered this video while I am going through some mental healing and trying to piece myself together. You are so inspiring brother. I'm always so focused on the grind, the pressure to be better, to do more for the sake of my vision. But in the process I was fighting against my body, not working with it. Your video on roadwork and shadowboxing along with this one made me realize how much I was neglecting my mental conditioning. I wasn't allowing myself any joy. I was working too hard, too focused on the grind. My body was trying to give me these signs, but I was too focused to listen. I have a lot to think about. You have the true heart of a warrior, and I hope to encapsulate your wisdom so I can be one badass faka.

Glad you took heed to your body's cues. We only get one life and the grind can be demanding. It's imperative to find that balance....salute

In my observation and study of the greats in multiple sports and disciplines, I’ve found that always the top guys actually laughed a lot. Yes, they were extremely hard workers, put in way more work than the rest in their field yet, they low key enjoyed themselves. Mayweather, Kobe Bryant, Stone Cold Steve Austin, even Bruce Lee. Behind the scenes these guys really did laugh a lot a lot

I appreciate this video so much. I had no idea what was coming. Caught me off guard in the best way possible. We are so lucky to have Chez. What a gift to the world. They don't make too many guys like this. Take advantage of his inspiring take on life and true contributions to humanity. When I first started watching his videos I was 40 lbs heavier. In the end it was my decisions and work that made it happen, however without this man's inspirations and wisdoms I would have not done so well.

You are absolutely correct and this literally is a secret in this so-called modern age of materialism. Your emotional and spiritual state dictate the health of your mind and body. Going though the most stressful period of my life recently taught me that no amount of exercise and proper diet can make up for excess stress in your life. Subscribed.

Greetings, Chez - new to your channel, but already subbed, liked and dinged. A question for you: jumping rope - how long does it take to get proficient at it? I've started, but get to about 20 rotations and start feeling my calves fatigue and/or trapping the rope with my feet. Keep up the great work, and God bless and good energy to you, your family and all your followers here.

Chez, loving your channel brother. Just subscribed and I have to say one of the very best no-nonsense approach to fitness for the average guy - well done. Just a quick question, you don't mention vegetables in your diet or maybe you do but if you did, I must have missed it - So, yes meat, eggs, honey, fruit, butter, cheese but, do you ever include veggies in your diet? Just curious :)

Bronson is a British prisoner. He's serving a life sentence, though he never killed anyone. He has had parole repeatedly denied as he's deemed too institutionalised and unfit for society. Its debatable whether he still poses a risk, due to his age and some other factors. There's a pretty good film based on his life, starring Tom Hardy, that you might like. Allegedly, Hardy bulked up for the role by doing hours of calisthenics a day (and also eating a lot of high calorie junk food, however). You might like to ewad about Hardy's training routine when he prepped for the film.

Depending on where you live, there maybe a lot of boxing gums around. Don’t be afraid to join one!!! If you feel you want to get a little exposer to it before you get with a gum, you can KZfaq a lot of beginner type workouts with some tutorials. Do a lot of solo training first just to get in your groove. I know some commercial gyms have woman’s boxing classes which you can drop in on. Not so much commitment and it’s at an easier pace. Try those out and if you need more help you can comment back here
