They don't make singers or groups like this these days. Thank God we can still hear them on old DVDs and You Tube. The Seekers, Judith Collins, Joan Baez. That is singing as it should be

I never knew she sang this song in such a magnificent manner. It is the most perfect rendering and I have heard many versions. The harmony is astounding. May she sing in the sky.

For my daughter Shelly who left this world way way too young, This man can listen to this beautiful music and know she is still close by, this father has never been the same since my girl with blond hair and blues eyes said good-bye, but I close my eyes and she is right here next to me and I can actually smile for all the love we shared in a short period of time, my Angel.

The Lord gave us Judith and the Seekers to sing for millions of people, and when they gave us Kumbaya, I Am Australian, and a hundred other hymns and folk songs, they in turn blessed Melbourne; all of Australia; and the entire world. May the Lord continue to bless Athol, David, Judith and Keith for many more years.

Wow ... incredible. Although the lyrics are rather simple, the harmonies plus Judith’s powerful voice make the tune very moving. She delivers a higher note at about 2:58 (maybe this is referred to as a change of key) that really blows me away. I keep playing this tune over & over again. 😃
