Why why why can't we have music like this today instead of the garbage music. Oh how I miss the 60s and 70s.

Judith has the "famous" voice, but I can't help but notice, yet again, that all 4 of these voices are special in the way they blend. There are plenty of quartets who can sing harmony in tune and sing well. But the tone of these 4 voices creates an amazing sound. Thank you, Judith Durham, but thank you to ALL the Seekers, for soothing, entertaining, comforting, and adding something beautiful to planet Earth.

The last chance I got to see them live on this tour was their Liverpool performance. What really hit home with me was finally seeing Judith's diminutive physical stature live on stage. Such a delicate, tiny little morsel of humanity, showing the strength and determination to continue on with a farewell tour after all she had been through .... That alone left me spellbound. They were all brilliant, an honour to be in their presence.

This is the very best version of their song. I play it over and over. I love the background film of their younger days playing while they are singing. How many of us can relate to growing old and remembering those days of our youth. A beautiful song as this must become a classic and remembered for generations to come!

Of all the versions I have heard, this has to be the best one. It is a song that sounds best when just sung straight, with heartfelt integrity, and that is the hallmark style of The Seekers.

One of the GREAT groups,they could actually sing and carry a note that a lot of the groups of that time could not.

The more I listen to The Seekers and their songs , the more I come to love them.

I was introduced to this group by my then girlfriend in 1969. Next year we celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.

I had one of the seekers first albums when I was a kid in the early 60s.. I missed so many of their songs but now the past week I've listened to many.so sad that Judith is gone...I wish I could have seen the seekers in concert!.

I know that this song is not intended to showcase Judith - but she still comes through so sweetly. She could make singing the phone book beautiful. Greatest folk group? Probably. Well done, Australia.

Bruce Woodley is the reason I became a musician, met this fine gentleman at a guitar clinic in Melbourne, what you see is what you get . . . Class.

The record of this is one of my lifelong favourites. Here they are fifty years later sounding slightly better, if anything. Very moving.

Just discovered this song on KZfaq a month or so ago. I could listen to it and them over and over again. I grew up with some of their music, not knowing that much about them as a group specifically, but as an adult, later in my life now have grown strongly attached to their music! I pray that they are all well and blessed from above!

One of my favourites. 78 year old Aussie. Those were the days the late 50s to late 60s produced such a wealth of beautiful music. If you listen to the wonderful backing in most of those songs it will add an even deeper appreciation of the quality of the music. Music has lost its melody since then. A 78 year old Aussie.

I'm over 60 and remember this group when I was younger. I always lover a few of their songs, like 'I'll Never Find Another You' and 'Georgie Girl'. But luckily for me I rediscovered then recently and know am listening to all their songs. What a talented and wholesome group!

Im born and bred with the seeker's. Got 500 plus records . Been to quite a few of there concert's. Once i travelled 2500klms round trip to see them and I'll do that again without a second thought. Born with there records when dad played his old record player. The best times.

This is so beautiful it makes me cry. I have loved the Seekers for many years, and we are all getting older together. They have the perfect blend of harmony and their music is calming and unmatched by any other I have heard. Appreciate their contribution to meaningful music. God bless!

I've commented before but listening to them again .this live version I've just realized they have matured. It's in this maturity there voices and harmonies are very very beautiful. I liked then when they started and they are still very fresh but also richer in quality in every respect.. they the seekers are in no doubt the best the very best in what they have given to us the listening audience...we all of us say thank you seekers for the best in music....

My all time favorite group. Nobody else even close.

This is one of my favorite folk songs, and I just want to listen over and over to it, and think of when I first heard it and how it speaks to what’s going on in 2024 for many of us.

The music of my youth, such exquisite clarity. Her notes are so accurate and she has a group of similarly talented people behind her. RIP Judith, you will always have a very deep place in my memory. Thank you.

In immersing myself in many Seekers songs over the past few months, I think this is the first I’ve heard Bruce sing lead. Such a beautiful, emotional voice and guitar performance. It’s amazing how something so simple as a ballad can create such emotions for us. And the group’s harmonies are heavenly. Thanks again to rich963 for this channel.

The Seekers' voices mix together like melted chocolate. Having been young when they were in the charts in the 1960s, I'm terribly sad that they are now old (like me, I'm getting there), and in Judith's case, gone forever.

I have listened to this wonderful song so so many times, and brings back so many memories of this amazing group, I grew up with them and loved them so much, may them live forever, absolutely legends.

If ever the word lush needs to be used it's to describe the gorgeous harmonies in this beautiful recording. Absolutely sublime!

What a beautiful masterpiece as a farewell. I was very young in the late 60s but I still remember the Seekers songs on the radio and black and white TV. Any time I hear those old songs I'm transported back to the 60s. RIP Judith x

So impressive in a group with one preeminent dominant vocalist, that that lead singer can take a support role when another band member has a lead. So much simple but profound talent on that stage.

I was very lucky to see the seekers at the Bridgewater hall in Manchester on the farewell tour,I was right in the front row centre,it was a night I’ll never forget,Judith’s voice just lit the room,just the best.

Everything they did was touching and so tight. Wonderful blend. Also, wonderful to see them still singing and playing at this age in their lives. Judith just passed away recently.
