Greta seems to be very affectionate and sensitive, she adores Guillermo's craft, she was just expressing her love and admiratoon for him. Plus, she didn't say "thank you", she said "I love him", you can clearly see her mouthing three words.

Reading the coments, it's clear no matter what film would have won, a lot of people would disagree. Among all the films nominated, there's no movie that most of the people agree which is the best one, the people were divided.

Atleast Guillermo is sticking to reason he started making movies. Meanwhile some are going dog shit crazy with the Oscar Baits. I mean I am way more excited when Spielberg does something like "Ready Player One" than "The Post".

One of my favourite Best Picture Winners of the 21st Century. This also includes The Lord of The Rings: The Return of The King, No Country for Old Men, 12 Years A Slave and Birdman. Best of all The Shape of Water is my favourite film of 2017.

How disrespectful to cut with music the speech! Let the producer talk, damn it! It's his time! The Academy has a lot of time to presenters coming up with jokes the minutes they want but cut the winners speech! COME ON! Shame on you, Academy

While I would've preferred Phantom Thread (my 2nd favorite movie of 2017) or Three Billboards to win, I still very much think Shape of Water deserved the award. Tbh, I think Blade Runner 2049 (my favorite movie of 2017) should've won, but it wasn't even nominated.

I loved all of these movies, I also really liked Call me by your name But in my opinion for me (personally) Shape of Water is the best, because it left a huge and the strongest impact of me. I am a big fan of fantasy and other genres too, but this particular film is special because of how every element in the film blemds with each other, and sets up a very powerful and beautiful scene (accompanies with one of the best soundtrack ever). Its kinda like Amadeus in some way, magical. I still agree that Call me by your name, three billboards, blade runner and PT were amazing. But for me personally SoW made the biggest impact
