I've watched this video so many times. So many times. And it just happens very quickly. Brandon, because this is so universally applicable to so many MIDI enabled loopers, is there any way that you could publish written instructions or present a slower version of this? I just have such a hard time following it at that speed. You're awesome.

Two days ago, I was trying to find a way around setting the looper on HX stomp with my new MC3..and this video happened. Thanks team @morningstar! ☺ A video on how to use the MC3 for looper control on HX stomp would be awesome (would make a lot of lives easier). Any chance of getting a video tutorial on how to setup the MC3 completely for looping with HX Stomp, just the way it is setup in this video?

This is the same as having a toggle position 3. Why is it called "shift"? Confusing.

Would another application for Shift State be for HX Stomp snapshots? That is, being able to toggle between say SS1 & SS2 on a single footswitch like you do for Rec/Play & Overdub here? (Or did the Morningstar functionality allow this anyway??) - would be great as would allow a switch to be freed up to call a preset within a single MC3 bank

Is there any way to add display/labelling intelligence for a second button that can control the effects of the first button? For example, I want to create a preset of multiple buttons where: Button A displays "Play/Rec", at its initial state of Stop. If you hit this button for the first time, it displays "recording" and goes between "playing" everytime you hit this button. However, a second button, Button B, can force Button A back to the initial state of stop state and make it show "Play/Rec" again, but only this second button can do that. The function is working now, but i cant figure out a way to have the display correspond to the changes of its state. Because button A doesnt have the intelligence to know that its also being affected by button B, and therefore will continue to display "recording", even though it may have been stopped by button B. if that makes sense I watched the video on shift states, but it didnt seem like that entirely covered this specific scenario of a second button influencing the first. For context, im trying to mimic the button layout of a Boss RC600, where multiple buttons influence the state of a track being played, recorded, overdubbed, and stopped. Thank you

How do I get the preset to start in the shift state like is shown in the video, I don't see where this is configured in the editor?
