Just as Homer is bringing in the fish General Sherman and singing "I Am The Champion"-poking fun at Queen's "We Are The Champions"- a very angry Marge is standing at the pier. Marge and Homer were supposed to go Catfish Lake to attend a marriage retreat run by Revrerend Tim and Helen Lovejoy (the Flanderses were there,too) after their marriage was in trouble when Homer got drunk at home during a party, but Homer was only interested in fishing.

ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS MARGE?!? She's calling Homer selfish just because he went out fishing for a big fish like in Red Dead? That fish could've been some good dinner. (And I hate fish food.) How the heck has Homer not divorced Marge? Marge is just a selfish bossy jerk that wants things HER WAY. Even though Homer can be a jerk as well, his heart is still in a good place.

Some species of catfish can stay alive for hours after being caught, General Sherman was probably out of the water for a few minutes, when he was dropped back into the water he was probably revived.
