My sister actually brought me a "Spiderpig" back from Chile when she was on a Christian mission there. It was a small ceramic pig painted like it was wearing a Spiderman costume. They love Homer in Chile!!!

4:31 Originally it was gonna be Marge that gets the vision, but it made Homer more of a jerk if he doesn't believe her so they changed it to Grandpa who says and does crazy things anyway. 12:38 'No Homer, listen to Marge.' 13:12 People wondered why Homer doesn't just get the donuts then drop off the silo, he could still drop it in the lake by accident(like he drops a donut then makes the car swerve when he bends down to pick it up, and the silo rolls off the car and down into the lake) By Homer doing it deliberately it makes us not side with him. 13:42 Thousand eyes 28:21 Hmm, If Homer had gone to pick up Bart immediately instead of not showing up til sunset, maybe the pig's not there at the time then him and Bart finish their lunch and go home.(Homer taking forever to come pick up Bart and then throwing him under the bus is the first real big jerk thing he does that kicks off everything)

When this movie first came out, there were a bunch of Christians who wanted it pulled from theaters, and banned, because of the part where Bart is riding his skateboard naked, but they thankfully didn’t succeed.

When the Simpsons came out I was 6. I remember the kids meal at Burger King came with Simpsons toys. And 1 year in the 90s I got a talking watch. It said cool your jets man. 😂 I think my brother broke it. I was always pressing it... cool your jets man😂

While the animation is great and the voice actors did an amazing job as always, I still didn’t like the movie. We all knew the plot was going to be “Homer does something incredibly stupid” even before the plot was revealed and speaking of Homer. There is nothing likeable about him in this movie. Then again, this was the era of the universally hated “Jerkass Homer”
