This is so much easier than the other tutorials I've seen for this. They're all so confusing.

At first I thought you're tutorial was crap... But it wasn't... I thought that because I am a type of person that blames others rather than myself... Then i finally made it work... Your tutorial is AMAZING!

Now I finally realize how to fix the awkward window playing in a split level. I always thought having windows at the bottom looked weird, but now I know how to fix that. Very helpful video~ C:

@Hakkastyle you just go to build mode, and click on terrain tools and then the level floor tool (I think that's what its called, you might have to check each option that's under terrain tools) and drag it out.

When you go to terrain tools there is one that you can use to put the squares you select on the same level. See at 0:37? That's how it works. Just pull it pressing the right button in the mouse to whatever you want and then let go the button. Tell me again if you didn't understand.

@babyxkande While in game you hold ctrl + shift + c, than a bar will appear at the top of you're screen, that's there to type in cheats. That's where you type it in. There are also other cheats to.

it´s the terrain tool to make the terrain flat that i use :P but you have to tape in constrainflorrelevation false first

@nesnahprotsdam you mabye have "moveobjects on" turned on just turn that off and see if thats not the problem turn the "constrainfloorelevation false" cheat off and see if it works now :)

@Hakkastyle you use the constrain floor elevation false cheat and then you have to use the "level terrain" tool.

I don't know if you found out what was wrong, but if you want to get rid of the Unfininished Room, I just hit CTRL+SHIFT+C, and type testingcheatsenabled true, and CTRL click on the unwanted moodlet thing.

@Hakkastyle Use the leveling tool in build mode. Not the up or down or smooth, just the leveling tool, I think that's what it's called. And be

When the wall is not equal like in that minute where he puts the door, the painting will never come right. Try to use a painting with just one color or it will look weird. If you use a simple paiting like cream or whatever but with just one color, you badly will notice the bad painting... The wall at 1:33 is just used if you want to put a door or so. Did you understand? Hope you can solve your problem. :) Ask anything xD

@Hakkastyle that part is done using the "level terrain" tool found in terrain tools, u know the tool with the shovel and terrain... anyways hope this helps xD

Delete the section of wall with the triangles, then press Ctrl and Z at the same time/click the undo button. That should get rid of them :)

@dominodash21 If you bring up the terrain to twice as high as the foundation, then build your wall, type in the cheat, and flatten terrain over the wall, yeah

Just press "Ctrl - shift - c" to open the cheat box :P

@LilyTheAnnoyance placefriezes on. Only thing is, instead of 4-click foundations, it will place 6-click friezes. Experiment with it or do a search for sims 3 friezes to see what you can do wtih it

Much better, the game was originally for PC then converted for Mac users. Consoles just don't have the same depth to the game.

I tried building my house but it is on a split level you could up nine stairs then there is a little platform then you go up 3 or stairs then there are the two bedrooms, study and bathroom
