Many serial killers have a history of cruelty to animals as children but that does NOT mean that most people who are cruel to animals become serial killers. Serial killers are rare, but children who are cruel to animals, out of ignorance or thoughtlessness, are not nearly so rare.

Yes I have always liked it, It is often very difficult to get photos/pictures of the older cases so I often use time specific ones but not always from the place the crime happened

Criminal psychopath* Psychopathy or antisocial personality disorder is a diagnosis. A diagnosis is not a crime.

His childhood shows how it can be hard to differentiate ADHD from antisocial personality. "He was, however, in many ways a poor student. He was described as visionary and highly imaginative .. " Understimulation during normal everyday life (e.g., public school) and inattentiveness because of daydreaming are textbook ADHD. However, people with antisocial personality share our (ADHDers') chronic understimulation. ADHD has no relationship to empathy, that I know of, so it's down to the individual ADHDer whether we deal with our understimulation in healthy or unhealthy ways (i.e., ways that hurt ourselves or others). People with antisocial personality have low empathy, or emotional/affective empathy specifically (feeling what other people feel, as opposed to mentally putting yourself in another person's shoes without any emotion). So they are more likely to cope with their understimulation by hurting others. The best way to keep any understimulated child from developing unhealthy coping mechanisms is to get them a health outlet for their energy and creativity ASAP!
