Horrible way to treat a broken mothers heart! It happen to me, .not about my children's, but they get away with killing me s!lowly in ways a normal mind can't even think existed! They, her and her sons did that... For about 3 years robbing my sanity (she was the other woman) She call me one day asking if could meet On her place of business, and talk peace, Anyway I was loosing every thing my sanity, and a fortune every month, even my houseThat was just part All she did, was lie set me a trapped after that terrible biting , I went home (another county) I don't know how, I believe her, but ! Little that I knew her two adult ,6/2 .6/3 strong sons bet me to dead I drove myself to the Hospital, the Doctors told me I was dying because I have a huge internal bleeding, and since they didn't have my rare blood type, and even though they search different blood banks and didn't find any, of my blood type I trust Jesus, my time was running out! Finally they found some, but the Doctor said,. As much the clean the blood, it's never secure. Many virus and sickness can still there but your type it's very difficult to find, so is up to you taking the risk... My answer was...Any way I'm dieying, I trust The Lord He's powerful to cleaning any impurity! I always got a very strong bad reaction to blood transaction, it give me Anxiety's and attact like I am Epileptic and being all alone for almost a month with no one with me, made me really feeling like I was Tide to my own body! But Jesus never ever left my side! I spent my life going to hospitals and nursing homes saving souls and praying for the sick, God did extraordinary miracles! For that my life was in danger always, because the enemy hate me trying to end my life all the time! Haaving a terrible husband, he was always with another woman's, the very worst type! I hold my dignity and trust my Lord! The Lord knows that for serving Him we pay a terrible price, because the enemy hate us and Hus attacks are daily! But Jesxus defeated him on The Cross! He knows Hus time is shirt!

LAPD was among the most corrupt and incompetent police departments in the US, and I am not convinced they even solved this serial killer case. They needed a scapegoat for the many unsolved cases om missing people, and they found this backward redneck who had abused a child. The almost total lack of bodies was explained by quick lime, but it is a myth from pulp magazines that you can annihilate cadavres with it. Instead, most of the time you end up with mumified bodies! You can be almost sure that the police tortured the man and manipulated the child to make the confessions.
@pabrown69

I did a lot of research into LA, including the LAPD, for my writing. During Prohibition the LAPD were a crime unit in their own right. They protected speakeasies and gambling and worked hand in hand with the local criminals and City Hall, which was just as corrupt. They needed the Walter Collins success story to bolster their phony image as the good guys.

@Caz C Changling is not based on the Chicken Coop Murders but on the side story which is also a huge story of corrupt Los Angeles police work. Forcing this mom to take a boy that wasn't hers. Insisting he was, and because she was a woman in the era they said she was hysterical and to take her child home. It is completely horrific as a mother.... highly recommend the movie. It was done very well.

I appreciate you don't glorify the macabre and sometimes gory details (kind of like casual criminalist) I appreciate the time and effort you put into your content and you have a pretty amazing group of supporters, there's a lot love around here (dodging the rabbit holes) your back catalogue has gotten me through one of the worst experiences of my life (currently experiencing a neurological condition) and so I listen to a lot of your older stuff and it's awesome to see your journey as a creator, and the love you get in the comments. Used as a weapon by people of authority? How is that so? Could you please expand on your comment? I think mostly in the past, people of authority had no clue how to deal with psychiatric people. Back then, so many were committed to insane isylums if they were slightly off the rails, and that was that. I believe that it was nothing contemptuous in nature they simply didn't know how to deal with individuals back then that may have had medical issues.

Back in the 1970’s you could have anyone admitted to a psychiatric facility without any evidence of mental health issues. It became a means to an end for some people. I’m glad that doesn’t happen anymore although some people that need help these days don’t receive it.

Same. As an autistic person I've heard horror stories about how much worse disabled people are treated in psychiatric facilities and I know they are an absolute last resort for us. My old therapist told me if you ever need help it's best to admit yourself so you have the power to check yourself out, and to do research now so that in an emergency you already know which facility is best and which ones you should avoid at all costs. I hope neither of us ever experiences first hand just how horrible the treatment is

Thank you for featuring this tragic situation in the way you did. "Trying out" one missing child instead of looking for another missing child is a statement made from a department low on honor and high in incompetency and criminality.The corruption of the LAPD has a long history, and has only gotten worse with time. Homelessness, drugs, and human trafficking of all ages are prevalent there, enabled by arguably the most corrupt politicians in the country. When are the citizens going to be sick and tired of being sick and tired?

I think even sadder than the murder was Collin's belief that her son might still be alive and her constant search for him until she died. She was never at rest until she truly was. I pray they were reunited on the other side. R.I.P.

Out of all the brief cases I think that this is the most shocking. The police chief saying 'take him home and try him out ', is one of the most outrageous things that I have ever heard. Thanks very much as always. David. PS, I'm going for the Hello Fresh, thanks.

Good morning When I went to see the movie I can’t even imagine what the real Mrs. Collins went through. The tenacity of the police telling her to try out a little boy that wasn’t hers and to throw her into a mental hospital was just pure evil. A mother knows their child and I can’t believe that this was done to her plus she never received the $10,800 that was owed to her. The sad part was she died not even knowing what happened to her son. This is such a sad story R.I.P. to all the young boys that were kidnapped and killed🙏🏽🦋 R.I.P. mrs. Collins and Walter Collins 🙏🏽🦋

I had forgotten that case. Or, I remember it well, but I hadn't thought about it for a while. A really harrowing case. Obviously for the murders, but also the police chief, he really was quite the piece of work. Mind boggling. In all the sadness in it, it is a consolation that Sanford got away from that place. Always great when you upload new videoes. Cheers.

Another well told tragedy. J. J. Jones and his colleagues should’ve given the mother her $10K and more even though no amount of money could replace her precious son. The poor woman never made peace with the death. A very sad case indeed.

For anyone interested there is a book written about Sanford Clark called The Road Out Of Hell : Sanford Clark And The True Story Of The Wineville Murders. I bought it off Audible and have listened to it about four times. It’s horrific what this boy went though. I’m confused listening to this because in the book things written were quite different and Sanfords mother never cared for him it was all his sisters doing that saved Sanford.
