FYI darkslides are not in the game files. Only the darkslide state. Dawg wrote the logic himself for Darkslides to work. I know it don't matter, just want the correct people to get the credit 😂

I like how they only updated the game with the least wanted shit. Everyone wanted high water pants, cooler shoes, better shaped and textured clothes, and better mechanics and a stats menu. But instead we got a half decent skatepark in April (not including fucking Tampa) and holiday drops which were just random graphics on the same textured clothes.

Man I have like 350 hours in XL, went to session and cant go back. I tried getting back into XL the other night. Had to update all of the mods and what not and its just such a hassle to get the game actually fun to play. I know the session team hasn't added a whole lot in terms of animations and actual gameplay features but they've been rolling out hand made maps pretty consistently. Session it is for me

Personally, I ended up enjoying the Grabs feature simply because I messed around and discovered a new trick/challenge to try, which is something that keeps me playing the game since there is no statistics tracker. Something I have been abusing in Session. I want an explanation because I all really waited patiently for a whole year was Primos, Caspers, and Darkslides.

spent to much money on those dumb nintendo switch's that they send out for free to get people to talk about there shit game instead of paying dev's i guess. The news feed in game is the biggest joke. They never give any info on what there doing and when they do its it doesn't actually happen.

session is far better like i’ve but in about 150 hours on xl and only 2 months ago i got session and there’s no comparison session is the far better game but i do still hope easy day make xl better because that’s what got me into skating. W video btw keep it up big dawg ❤

actually the grabs update made the grabs worse, now stalefish , and method grabs are broken and you cant do a proper indy nosebone. I still really enjoy skater xl but im on pc now and i just wish the game could get BETTER lol. great vid !

I was just talking about this the other day haha. It’s cool they’re still working on the game.. but maybe don’t put dates on things if you know it’s going to be a crunch to make it happen… easily could have just put “new things coming” and dropped the “in 2023”, but now they just setting themselves up to be the butt of more jokes..

I gave up on this game ever since the devs had some silly beef with the stats menu modder instead of hiring him to implement it into the game.

I kinda hate this Game. Sometimes I wonder why they even started this whole Thing when they barely drop Updates and clearly don't care much about the Game or the Players. I mean, it has been fully released on July 28th 2020 and it still kinda feels like an Early Acces Game.

I love the game, have almost 1000 hours put into it, but it's dead. The only thing keeping it alive is the community and mod support. It's not surprising considering they completely abandoned their paid mobile game, leaving it completely unplayable for a lot of people.

I would literally love to get hired by them just so I can inform people on what is happening to the game, make a roadmap, do all this stuff us players need when it comes to info. Cause it's unfair for us to be left in the dust

pisses me off that they focus on bringing the game to every platform, before actually making it good on pc, they're like quantity > quality its bad, like nobody fucking cares that its available on switch lol, i used to love this game a few years ago but cba having to install and configure dozens of mods to make the game good, and the fact that there is little to no communication from the devs and that they're not listening to what the community really wants... i'm just gonna wait for skate 4

Skater XL is legitimately the most disappointed I've ever been in a game development studio. They have the skeleton for something truly special. I gladly paid for the game on console, thinking "oh, these guys are clearly passionate about skating. When they start getting sales, the influx of cash will allow them to flesh out the game more". Boy was I wrong. They built a glorified tech demo and never finished the assignment. My game crashed so many times on PS4. The character models barely looked human, the player interface was terrible. The player created content was obviously quite limited and rarely worked as intended (or, again, crashed my game), there are literally like 8 music tracks total. The maps are absolutely pathetic to have been the only ones they shipped. Easy Day High School is the only map even worth loading up among the maps Easy Day actually made. Imagine if Tony Hawk Pro Skater had only shipped with The Warehouse and 2 player created maps. That's NONSENSE. So I waited, and waited AND WAITED. Hoping for something to come of this. But nothing ever did. Ah well, Session is free on PS Plus so I'm downloading it now. I still feel like I got scammed by Easy Day.

Once again we are gonna let these slimy dev teams have it! Sadly sk4te needs to come & wipe the slate clean. Time to step up!!!
