How people think artists come up with ideas: I did copious amounts of research to put a great amount of symbolism and detail into my artwork. Nothing is a coincidance, also here is a 10 page essay explaining the meaning of this piece. I see so many comments about Karla or the camera looking at the artist etc but these videos are the most interesting videos to watch, they are so intimate, The little smirk an artist has as he views a piece about his son or the frustrated look they have as they notice a drawing they see all the things wrong with it. I connect with this so much, it's a small look into a part we never see with artists, usually a bunch of introverts but for a moment we get to see the beauty they see in their own work and also the constant stuggle they have too.

I enjoyed his personal descriptions of his drawing. He’s very humble.,..while being an awesome artist. It resonated with me about the way he became upset with the drawing he was doing on the plane.. he was “chastising” himself over a mistake on a hand. So he took a page in his sketch book & drew nothing but hands. That’s something that was ingrained into me while improving my skills in the disappointing areas by doing exactly that until you are comfortable with the area needing work. Good to know how artists who become well-known have the same issues as others rest of us.

This was dope , never knew of Mr Kopinski, until I saw him in a recent Proko video. Now he definitely in my top 10. Very inspiring. Now let me go practice

I have always been amazed by his work. Never knew what he looked like. He seems really cool in person. Very funny, and honestly reminds me of David Bowie!

I wish to speak with him in person one day. He is really gorgeous and cool. p.s: thank you for your filming but please show more of his art instead of his hands!

Hey Karl, these are very well done. It's cool seeing an English bloke doing some illustrations of natives as well.

Your command of facial expression and "body language" is enviable. I'm good at anatomy, but have never really worked ENOUGH on those two aspects. I really need to get BUSY!
