Environmental Health Officers Doreen and Gary, attend a report of a very smelly blocked sewer in Chelmsford, Essex… What will this daring duo uncover? And how will the resolve it?
WARNING - after watching you may never look at ice cream scoops the same way.
On this occasion, the blockage is suspected to be the result of a local Chinese restaurant incorrectly disposing of food waste - which can make the situation even smellier. In fact anyone near the drains or manhole covers would be assaulted by the foul stench.
Blocked sewers can quickly become a serious health risk to the public and will affect everyone connected to the sewer if not dealt with quickly. Fight the good fight, people.

I wish we could see the cleanup and reno and the finished product. My biggest complaint with these videos is that they leave you hanging. Maybe have an incentive program to those tenants on the waiting list that if they give the Council X amount of hours of labor doing demo and general labor/clean up on a unit they get bumped up further on the waiting list? Also, I wonder why the guy/lady that does the initial inspection doesn't leave a bunch of mouse traps and roach hotels in the house and spray down the tub/shower, sinks and toilet with a disinfectant cleaner before leaving to get the ball rolling.

Why is this even a valid point anyway? The facts are that before 2012 Chelmsford was a town, now it's a city. Why are you spouting untrue facts in a poor attempt at trying to look intelligent?
