After seeing this I'm convinced that the smoker was a long haul truck driver. As it's likely the reason the tumors extend from the left side of his face and down his left arm. Those are the 2 areas most commonly damaged by sun exposure. Its likely he was an actual smoker too as that would increase his chances of getting lung, throat and skin cancer.

Im the kinda guy to go "Hey guys look a smoker" and then immediately get constricted by said smoker.

(Note: I haven't finished the video yet. Just wanted to put this out there before I forget.) Theory: Some Special Infected's common spawning points are reminiscent of their common comfort zones before their infection. Smokers enjoy rooftops, alleyways and places generally away from the crowd because those are places that they went to for their smoke breaks. Hunters enjoy rooftops and other high up locations because of their free-running. Witches usually sit in quiet and/or isolated places, reminiscent of going to your comfort zone during a depressive episode. Now, these really only apply to these three, as I can't think of anything for the other Special Infected, but I just thought it was an interesting observation.

Was wondering as while I'd love for a deep dive on the Infested/Technocyte from Warframe, and the Pandorans from Phoenix Point, I also imagine that they might not be so easy to discuss in regards to analysing how they work and what they do for a few different reasons each.

I have a personal theory as to why the smoker is so thin, as well. I believe he was likely bigger than he appears in l4d and l4d2. But his tongue, or intestinal tract, or whatever it is, takes up a majority of his mouth. I imagine it would be difficult to eat anything with that in your mouth and throat. I think the smoker is essentially starving. Also the way he moves when he's just standing. Most infected move like waves, just back and forth, or almost like they're out of breath. The smoker, however, twitches, and sometimes keels forward. I think he's suffering from stomach cramps due to hunger.

I like to imagine that the reason why the smoker is called a smoker is because he drinks a healthy amount of water and eats sufficient nutrients. Also he vapes like a true Reddit and Discord using Jamer...
