• TAOSTH makes it sound overly goofy and I jokingly love it! • CD US is equally quirky but intimidating. • SA1 perfectly encapsulates the original game. • SA2 and Shadow unironically fits almost perfectly! • 06 and Unleashed opening are both PERFECT for this!

I can see why they wouldn't wanna take music from Sonic games but they can atleast take the ones with no lyrics that fits the scene. Maybe a rock music for action scene and orchestral for emotional scene. 06 soundtracks sounds nothing like sonic (dont mean that in a bad way. What I mean is that its lyrics doesn't sound something you would hear in a game but in a movie). They should try using 06 or Unleashed theme for Eggman because they sound mencing and fit his character perfectly.[

Nothing will ever top Sonic Adventure 2 E.G.G.M.A.N. Honestly such a great villain I love how the movies interpret him. I feel as though recently he’s been a mustache twirling villain exclusively but the movies have a good mix of menacing and humorous that makes me love him.

It was written for a scene like this one. The first proper utilization of it (the pilot episode) is scripted for when Robotnik’s ship lands and he exits it into Robotropolis below.

I think the Shadow the Hedgehog version of E.G.G.M.A.N fits the best because of the fewer vocals in the song and the PERFECT syncing of the beats of the song to the beats of the scene.

The way he says Re Hatched is actually a reference to Sonic the Comic when He changes his form to look like the Adventures of Sonic Style in the comic, he cocooned into a giant egg and then burst out looking completely different.

I just adore how both versions of E.G.G.M.A.N. are edited such that it seems like it's a song that Eggman just makes Stone put in the background whenever he shows up. Especially when you couple it with the original Eggman dance scene in the first movie. Like, he needs to pump himself up, so he just puts his theme on. Or, y'know, gets Stone to run into the scene with a boombox that plays this song. If SEGA only let Paramount use one song, it really should have been this one (either version, I like the original SA2 one more, but the Shadow remix suits this scene too) also I can't believe I didn't already have this video liked. I'm sorry man, I'm remedying that rn here's a comment to help your algorithm.

Sonic 1's theme fit well, SATAM's theme fit excellently, SA2's was the textbook definition of a perfect fit, Rush's fit pretty damn well actually, and 06 fit pretty damn great honestly.

The themes that perfectly fit this scene are: 1) E.G.G.M.A.N. - Shadow & SA2, 2) Robotnik Theme - Sonic '06, 3) Boss Theme - Sonic 3D Blast 4) Eggman Theme - Sonic X, 5) Robotnik Theme - AOSTH 6) Boss Theme - Sonic CD (US) 7) Boss Theme - Sonic Mania 8) Boss Theme - Sonic 2 9) Boss Theme - Sonic 1 10) Boss Theme - Sonic 3 & Knuckles 11) Egg Hawk - Sonic Heroes 12) Robotnik Theme - SA1. The missed opportunity for a music selection was the Boss Music from the Saturn version of Sonic 3D Blast. That is one of the sickest boss themes I have heard in a Sonic game. Richard Jacques made that theme sound sinister as hell for Robotnik. That would've topped everything on this list if you had added that. That boss theme was ahead of it's time!

I just got hit with a wave of nostalgia hearing the boss themes from Rivals and Rush Adventure! Rivals was ths first ever Sonic game I played and what got me interested in the franchise in the first place, so the boss theme, which is also my favorite, holds a special place in my heart.

The fact that the AOSTH music fits so well with Jim's version of Robotnik makes me wonder why they haven't taken advantage of that despite the fans clearly wanting some references of some form to it. Personally, I'm surprised we haven't had a Jaleel White cameo yet. That would seem like an important thing to do if I were to make a Sonic movie. All the same, these movies were amazing. The first good live action video game movies.

From what I love about Junkie XL's score in this scene is that he upgrades Robotnik's Theme from the first film. As he dials up to eleven for Dr Robotnik's Theme throughout his transformation look. And I think the music choices from Sonic Adventure 1 to Sonic Rush Adventure fully embraces the theme of Robotnik's re-hatching into the iconic Eggman we all know and love.

Honestly shows just how impactful music choice can be! Each Robotnik theme has it's own beat and atmosphere, and it transforms the scene and how his return is portrayed. I do think that with just a bit of remixing, the SA2 theme is the most hard-hitting and fitting for his return, but that's personal opinion c:

In my personal opinion, the ones that fit the best for this scene would be the Sonic 1, 06, and Adventure 2 E.G.G.M.A.N. themes, but Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic CD US, Sonic SatAM, were pretty good and the AoStH theme might work since it fits well with Jim Carrey, but it should probably be remixed in a way to work better with the scene in particular.

My Top Favorites 1. Sonic Adventure 2: The number one perfect kind of theme to kick some blue ass! 2. Shadow The Hedgehog: The right kind of music for an return. 3. Sonic Unleashed: This theme is so awesome and gives a more dynamic feel for Robotnik’s transformation to Eggman. Seriously I think the movies should have this kind of orchestral music much like Unleashed. Unleash’s score definitely has a similar feel as John Williams’ music, mixed with Back to The Future, and with a bit of Matrix to it. 4. Sonic Adventure: This theme rocks the mood. 5. Sonic CD (JP): The perfect kind of theme to gear up and getting your groove on. 6. Sonic SATAM: Sinks in nicely for the mood but a little slower paced. 7. Sonic CD (USA): Sounds sinister, scary and feels like judgment day is coming.

I think either SatAM, Unleashed, or 06 work best because they are cinematic enough to work in this cinematic adaptation of Sonic.

I'm a sucker for the original E.G.G.M.A.N. from SA2 but I'd actually pick the remixed one from Shadow's game. The lyrics refer to the events of SA2, which would be a little confusing for this scene but that's omitted in the remix and the lyrics that are still heard fit this scene really well and it still keeps the same energy as the original. :D

Sonic the Hedgehog 2’s boss theme really fit but it really hit HARD when both Adventure 1 & 2’s themes started blasting.
