The Black Knight has the best soundtrack in my opinion, the music in it really felt like the end of an era for Sonic games, not saying the new ones are bad they just don't have the same charm as the ones from the early 2000s

Eggmanland day fits INCREDIBLY well, the music changes at the perfect points like becoming calmer when knuckles approaches the emerald and picking back up when Sonic reappears

My favorite is Egg Cerberus. Also, when Sonic and Knuckles jump at each other, I noticed that Sonic spins and then untucks that time before clashing. He realized that Knuckles can catch him if he spins. Because Sonic learns from his mistakes.

13:58-15:23;I think "Through the fire" from "Sonic and the Black Knight." should've been in Sonic and Knuckles's last fight in "Sonic movie 2."

Only problem with this fight is that it’s too short and same with the snowboard fight. I wish they were longer and I hope they have an extended scene of the sonic and knuckles fights being longer

Hopefully the third film fixes that issue. A Sonic/Shadow fight should be going for three minutes tops, not for half that amount of time.

Again, I think the forces songs work the best, especially Luminous forest. I don’t really know how to explain it, but I like to imagine that the guitar/rock part of the song signifies Sonic, while the synth signifies Knuckles. Again, I have no clue if that’s intentional but whatever.

Fight For My Own Way hits me right in the nostalgia. So do that SA2 rival songs, but save those for Shadow. Given the music choices I've liked for Act Three of your playlist, I think 3 Black Noises fits really well for the tone. Eggmanland is good, but, too echo the comments, the Black Knight songs are also really good. Fight the Knight may win just for coolness factor.

one of the best things about this movie is that they fixed knuckles knuckles was originally a hot headed, naïve, and headstrong guardian of the master emerald, devoted to his duty and being of the "shoot first, ask questions later" mindset but as the franchise went on he got flanderized into just being the idiot, the dumb one who can't even tell right from left (sonic boom was the worst example of this) but in this movie, it very much feels like whoever wrote knuckles in this understood who he was back in his debut game and in the process, undid years worth of flanderization to make knuckles a worthy rival to sonic again

Fight my own way really gets me on this scene I definitely nominated but that doesn't mean it's the only song that would fit the scene. Shut up faker: definitely is more suitable for sonic the hedgehog movie three when he's up against shadow. Suitable opponent: this definitely fits the scene… However it does make me feel like the setting could be a little different than an ancient ruins. Sonic X sonic's fight: not bad this could really work out Three black noises might be the The true fit for this scene… Short as it may be
