Any glass drug pipe would likely contain prints or DNA and was not in the car prior to being stolen. The cops lied to you... After getting prints taken call the police officer 2 to 3 times per week and check on the status. In my case the thief was caught while steeling another car and their prints matched.

Our local police don't know what it means to be part of the community. They have their own group of friends and anyone outside of that is used for revenue generation.
