Most of them are extremely thin because they aren't too far out of childhood. They're a bunch of minor league players, since the GM/President is the absolute worst in the entire NHL when it comes to controlling the salary cap. He should have been fired two years ago, but this stupid organisation promoted him to be the President of Hockey Operations. He so bad that I wouldn't even have him collecting tolls in the parking lot.

These videos are a nice PR effort to boost fan morale and I would love to be thrilled by them but after this disheartening training camp and no sign of improvement in sight as the season opener nears, I just can't feel any excitement. This season is just a waste of time, one year down the drain. Rebuild should have started right now instead of this phony retool. This unending stream of bad decisions is killing the spirit.

Fletcher could have built a better veteran core/roster. Something that can actually win division and possibly top 3 team by April. All he had to do was start moving out cap by the last trade deadline. JVR, Samhiem, Coots and TK. That is about 20-25 mill. The only for sure thing Fletcher would need to get back would be a top 3-4 D partner for Provy. He could have easily reconstructed the D core through those trades alone. Add Johnny Hockey, Kadri and give up that pick at the draft for a young up and coming NHL scorer. The middle of Hayes, Cam, Farabee + one if not both Cates Bros could have been championship worthy as a supporting cast. This team is missing a entire top line and about 2 top 4 shy.

I like John Tortorella, he's the only positive thing going into this upcoming season. This will be a minor league team, with a few middle of the road NHL veterans who have never achieved consistency in their collective careers. The main troubles with this team/franchise isn't simply the lack of talent on the ice, but the hopeless inadequacy of the GM/President-CEO-and the entire front office. They all need to be replaced in order for this franchise to return to being a competent organisation.

god it bugs me watching these knowing that a corporate group owns this franchise. There is zero passion left in the hope for a stanley cup. I will continue to say this until I die but at this moment , as long as there are enough ticket sales, the owners do not give a flying f*ck about the well-being of the team.

March 2020 was an overachieve. They barely survived Montreal and were exposed against the Isles. The only thing that saved them was Hart. They returned to norm in 21 and 22.
