The correct staple length is 70 staples long for standard staples, it is still a VERY tight fit and you break A LOT! You can do it though with enough patience 😊

Because the ones your using might be bigger, the channel is a professional and he is using a smaller one. Bigger ones can break easily and you might hurt yourself, the smaller ones won't break easily.

3rd try and I did it. I thought everything would be interlocked and would not fall apart so I threw it around and played with it and it kind of just fell apart again

I tried it on a table top for fifteen minutes - the folded piece of the cube was unstable. I went for a smoke and when I came back I started from the beginning on a piece of paper. the whole thing took me 5 minutes. half of which is the last element - it turned out to be easy after rotating the structure by 45 degrees 😉

50 but staples come in different sizes and wire gauges.

I am not sure how much I used exactly, but it is possible to make a smaller cube where it is almost completely sealed

Easy peasy.. For a perfect sealed cube, you need 18 pieces. That's waaay harder to build. I'm at 17, but mission impossible..

Skill issue, I tried and everything fited perfectly (well not exactly, my staples were a little bit more narrow so it didn't held as well but I still could handle the cube around before it collapsed)

This has 2 staples missing that make a hole in middle and makes this impossible to make a perfect cube 😔 I have placed 17 staples but failed to place the 18th to make it a perfect staple cube 😢😢

Whenever he puts the fourth staple into place, copy that, then measure how wide it is, and thats how long it has to be, because some staples are wider, like mine need to be 3.6cm to work so I have to go through and measure and clip all 16
