I love this type of stuff in Star Wars. Really makes me appreciate the Mortis Arc of the Clone Wars a lot. Especially when you can sorta tie it into other dimensions inside the Star Wars galaxy. It's all fascinating stuff at least to me.

I was literally typing up a comment about the Voss as I heard you mention it in the video. Doing the Sith Inquisitor's Voss story is what sold me on Star Wars' more fantastical aspects. Regardless, This was a really cool video.

the Nightmare Lands would make an amazing concept point for a SW horror movie focused on the survival of ordinary spacers or galactic civilians.

I listened to Fate of rhe Jedi on audiobook. They really nail it. I've always thought of Sinkhole Station as a proof of concept that Star Wars woule be a great universe for more horror stories.

I don’t if you’re familiar with the video game Destiny or it’s lore, but the Charon absolutely made me think of the Hive and what their goal in the game was.

You should read the Cult and Supernatural Encounters novellas. Trippy stuff, yet surprisingly enlightening if you know the proper context.

It will be interesting if there is a discussion of the implication of Ahsoka's survival via the World Between Worlds. She essentially cheated her own destiny, but at the same time, it was time travel, so it also meant it was supposed to happen?

How many connections between dimensions are post-factum explanations in source books and how much of these are authors actually bothering to connect their new inventions to old ones? Because No-Space in High Republic could have easily been Otherspace if they asked Pablo about existing Star Wars dimensions.

The Waru and Ewoks ones, the connections are things which came later or are hypothetical. For the Netherworld of the force stuff, they mostly all just seem to be authors, games, etc coming to similar conclusions. But the Abeloth/Beyond Shadows/Mortis stuff, Fate of the Jedi was explicitly written building on that Clone Wars arc.

I honestly never liked the construct of the Ones & didn't know what to think of Abeloth, it seemed weird, too esoteric & generally kinda "too much" (on the other hand it's ironic that there's a limit for me in a franchise about space wizards 😅)

Welcome to this ever expanding club of overwhelming realities and varied constants and variables then, Corey and company. Such is the kriffery of Multiverse (or Omniverse to some) Theory. Still, though, we don't need a Multiversal Crossover Nexus of sorts. We can at least make occasional isekai-esque tales to, say, a brutal yet somewhat utopic Emperor Anakin Skywalker-ruled universe (based on either the RotS video game adaptation's alternate ending or that obscure TCW 2008 comic featuring a messed up Mortis arc outcome), but never DC New 52 shenanigans. Addendum: If only this had extra info from the Cult and Supernatural Encounters novellas. Now those are a treasure trove of mystical trivia, with even a shout-out to the World Between Worlds and even the origin of the Disney Alt-universe... spoilers with lack of proper context, the Bedlam Spirit Splendid Ap is to blame.
