Thats not too hard to believe, but it's the fact that he's deliberately switching the cameras himself, you can see him doing it with his right hand, even when he's supposedly unaware that he's gone live. You'd think he if really was unaware he was live he would have just left the camera facing outwards. I do think it's possible that he got in line for the drive through and while in line maybe realized he was about to go live and decided to just roll with. Or perhaps he planned it himself, seems like he does bits during his segment a lot, but the station didn't know about it (other than maybe knowing he does stuff like this and allows/encourages it). So like half fake.

It wasn't fake. I saw it live on-air when it happened (I live in the Baltimore area). Baltimore news stations have "snow shows" whenever there is a certain amount of snow leaving on air broadcast staff in place for many hours.
