In the year 2560, racing has a new name. High above the city streets, drivers from all over the galaxy gather for a single purpose- to win the F-ZERO Grand Prix. The most dangerous race of all time is about to begin, and among the racers, a certain legendary bounty hunter has taken his place behind the wheel.
This is the story of Captain Falcon.

The comic featured in this dub is from the original F-ZERO instruction manual. When making the game, the developers got the neat idea to set up the universe with a comic that lets us meet Captain Falcon for ourselves before turning on the game. The end result is a very fun, brief introduction to the world of F-ZERO. The style of the comic feels much more western than Japanese, despite being made in Japan. The legacy of American comic books is very much alive in these pages.
The comic was handled by Imamura of the Nintendo EAD team all those years ago. All voice-over and editing in this video was done by me, Stanpai. Thanks for watching!

Captain falcon is basically the face of smash bros. even though Nintendo no longer seems to care about the original games he lives in on in smash. From a mercenary to a pilot to the face of one of the biggest fighting games in in history. Also that lizard looked like k rool lol.

Im going to be that guy but hes no mercenary. hes a bounty hunter. as one is a hired gun for all sorts of illegal organizations potentially involved in intergalactic conflict. falcon is a bail bonds man who is usually turning in already bailed convicts. Im now going to slither back in the crater I crawled out of.

Guns were fired and moves were shown, I gotta admit that I like this one just as much as that motion comic interpretation I saw a while ago. I like how goroh sounds similar to his GX voice too lol.

INTERESTING take on Falcon's voice...I could almost hear a little bit of Clint Eastwood's "The Man With No Name" from "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." Your emphasis on certain lines differed from the Motion comic version that was previously uploaded so it was interesting to hear both a different voice! Nicely done!

And then I realize, that sylvester stallone could have played falcon in his day, the judge dredd look is uncanny the more I look at it. How did I miss that?

Fun fact: Captain Falcon's title of "Captain" comes from two sources. One: He's the Captain of the Falcon Flyer, which appears not only in the comics but in SSBB's The Subspace Emissary (when fighting Meta Ridley) and appears occasionally in F-Zero stage backgrounds. Two: He's a retired police Captain turned famous bounty hunter. The more you know. 👍

Oh man this brought back memories. I wasn’t much into comics as a young child in the early 90s but I was 6 and just learning to read when I got the SNES for Christmas. And I read that F-Zero manual over and over. Great job!!!

Would love a whole anime series about capt falcon. But in the style of c falcon here, not that superhero he is in smash bros. I was always fascinated about the futuristic city style but with 90s stuff like his helmet or the mechanics who help the drivers get in the cars
