F-Zero's story maybe pure nonsense, but it really does have a potentially rich, if largely untapped, world lore. I actually really love that each of the pilots has a name and background, rather than just being a vehicle with some colors.

Wait...so...Captain Falcon...is the living incarnation...of the Spirit of Light? ...I thought he was just a series of random guys who hide their identity by taking up the Mantle of Captain Falcon, and eventually passing the mantle onto a successor when they cannot continue, because the idea (the symbol) he represents, is much more important than the flesh underneath. Y'know - kind of like Frankenstein from Death Race.

You forgot to mention that Douglas Jay Falcon "dies" (off screen so you never really know) in a heroic sacrifice to stop Black Shadow. Before he throws himself away Douglas bestows the name "Captain Falcon" on Rick Wheeler so he can carry on the legacy of the racer. Also in fanservice they added the iconic Falcon Punch in the anime where my comment is pulled from, so technically he does have his powers in the series(?) Althougg originally it was completely made up for Smash Bros. it's cool to see it transfer back over to his franshise due to popular demand. _Personal opinion/fill in the blank:_ This is why Falcon's colour scheme changes between purple (Douglas) and blue (Rick), depending on when/what Falcon is presented.

Since there hasn't been F-Zero since 2005 I think it's pretty safe to say thatCaptain Falcon is now known as Captain Falcon from Smash Brothers. Honestly I'm pretty sure the vast majority of people have no idea that he's from a racing series.

i was expecting to hear the F-Zero GX story line. Not the Anime story line. though saying that the F-zero Anime was fucking amazing, and worth watching. only the first dozen episodes where ever dubbed in English though. for the rest of the series it was all kept in Japanese.

Also, there are PERFECT characters. Exhibit A: Silver Neelsen. At 1st, he was inspired by Cranky Kong. When GX rolled around, his cane was painted to look like the Kingdom Key. Exhibit B: Antonio Guster and Lisa Brilliant: A pair of siblings who have ties to Samurai Goroh, the 4th-worst character

Alright, if nobody else has done it yet, allow me to point out every flaw here: 1) Assuming GP LEGEND to be canon The anime and two anime-based games are a seperate/reboot-continuity and follow their own storyline, which has different time settings and different character backgrounds than the Games, thusly being very much different from the three (main series, not counting the BS Satellaview and Virtual boy) games that came before it. 2) Assuming GX' story Mode is canon While it's the most direct, coherent story we have involving the characters, lots of things feel very off about it, like the finale, where the creators basically are described as the Staff Ghost, or changes to lore that was established in the same game, i.e. Black Shadow Summoning Blood Falcon out of nowhere in a cutscene. There's also Black Shadow's "master class" movie, showing "outtakes" from the Story Mode's intro chapter, making it all look like it's simply a movie, which would explain the hammier-than-usual acting. 3) Merging the two non-canon-canons. As I said before, the games and the anime have seperate storylines. In GX, Black Shadow is shown to be a minion to Deathborn, while in the Anime, Deathborn not only works for Black Shadow, but is nothing but Black Shadow's... shadow, given a makeover. The two canons are not compatible with each other, a Force of Evil and a Force of Good being present while at the same time having "creator spirits" are conflicting ideas that can't work together. 4) Not reading the manuals. F-ZERO, F-ZERO X, F-ZERO GX and F-ZERO: Maximum velocity come with manuals. If you read them, you will know all about the characters and the world around them. Falcon is a former Cop. Black Shadow has Voodoo-powers, Beastman is a Vigilante, John Tanaka is a loser, etc. If anyone read as much as four manuals, they'd have the real, canon universe explained to them, the racers and sometimes even the race tracks. You'd know about the two great crashes and the origins of Blood Falcon, the reason mechanics between the games were changed, why no main series racers return in Maximum Velocity and how their legacy carries on regardless. I know that wouldn't have made for a video as funny, but I'll be honest. This video was not funny, not entertaining, and I feel my intelligence as someone who bothered to READ THE MANUALS insulted. I hope this helps.

Falcon and Shadow aren't the reincarnations of "Light and dark" spirits. The powers of Light and Dark are in the championship belts of the world and the underworld.

So basically, bad guy needs money, but captain falcon is too good, so they try to take him out, but they fail. Then 3 evil creator spirits want to use the lights power to be a puppet of havoc but captain falcon races for his life

What game did this idea that Captain Falcon is the physical incarnation of some primordial light god come from? I can't find any other information about it anywhere on the internet. In GX Deathborn says something about how Dark and Light are the two cosmic forces that make up the universe, but nothing about Captain Falcon having anything to do with that. The Creator spirits later even say that those forces don't even exist so I am completely confused.

This is so inaccurate, why’d you mix F-Zero SNES, X and GX with GP Legend and Climax with eachother??? They’re both completely different and when those plots are mixed together they make no sense at all. This is just like mixing the plots of two entirely different Zelda games with eachother. For an example, Deathborn and Black Shadow are the same person in GP Legend, when Black Shadow only works for Deathborn in GX. Zoda and Rick Wheeler weren’t rivals in GX or X because Rick didn’t even EXIST in that timeline. Falcon only raced the creator in Chapter 9 of the GX story mode, NOT in any of the other games.
