"I would love to see Valeera make a return in-game" -> 5 years later we have Valeera as part of the story, showing in cinematics and even with an unique model. Life is good.

I know that Valeera is in Legion, and is part of the Rogue Class Hall campaign. Broll is also in Legion, as part of the Druid Campaign. Varian is in Legion... but not for very long. Unless you count the loading screen.

Blizzard really should start using these "lesser" characters far more. People are bored with Green Jesus, hell people probably are bored with Varian after his adventure in Pandaria. Give us more Rexar, Valeera, Garona etc.

I love how after she proved herself Varian and Broll's equal by fighting beside them, containing the insanely powerful Dreadlord Kathra'Natir within her body, and overcoming the magical addiction of the Blood Elves without the aid of the newly reignited Sunwell, the only commentary that can people are capable of offering on the topic of Valeera is this: "lol shes hawt id let her drane my magik lolol"

Valeera was one of the reasons i made a Blood elf rogue she had a deep lore on how Varian became who he was today. I am really ashamed blizzard doesnt use her in Legion this would have been the perfect time for her oath to protect him be at its peak.

It's strange that she is representing the Rogue class, yet very few players actually know who she really is.

Valeera could have played such a great role in WoW, i hope there will be a role for her later in the franchise,it would be awesome

I can't get over how well these videos are crafted. You not only go into the events of a given character, but also the internal emotional and mental struggles they all have to go through. I've watched many lore videos before i came across you and I have to say: these videos are always brilliantly made and crafted with so much depth and perspective I feel as though I'm reading a good book. I always had a crush on Valeera when I was young. I don’t know if it’s her elven looks, her revealing red rogue armor, her blonde hair in an anime ponytail or how she looked in the comics. Valeera was one of the few World of Warcraft characters I cared for. A damn shame she doesn’t get to do much in a lot of cinematic, along with Lor’thamar, Rexxar and a few others.

Blizzard should focus more on the famous characters representing actual player classes in the game. They did a few, like Tirion for paladins, Darion for death knights, Thrall for shamans, Malfurion for druids, Jaina for mages, Anduin for priests. But we lack representatives for the rest of the classes. Who is the strongest hunter, warlock , rogue or monk? Who can be a rolemodel for these classes? I can hardly name any important character. They could use Garona for rogues, she is well-known and kinda neutral. They could use Rexxar as a hunter, People love him. As for warlocks, maybe one of the guys in the green fire event. I can't even think of any other "good" warlock. I don't really know the pandaren that much, maybe Chen or the guy who fought Garrosh in the SoO trailer could be the "main" monk. And they should develop these heroes further, most of them are neutral (Anduin, Malfurion, Tirion, Darion, Thrall, but Jaina has not yet decided) but I think all of them should be. If they want Jaina killed then reintroduce Khadgar as the "main" mage, he will be there in WoD anyways.

She;s going to be a big part of the lore now they have used her as a hero of hearthstone. Expect her to return in a major plot once Anduin takes center stage.

I quit wow a while ago, but I still love watching these lore videos :)

Valeera's story has just made me realise the scope of what demon hunters deal with. They accept the demon's pact, using their demonic powers to their advantage but then have to use every once of their willpower on keeping the demon at bay. Having tasted demonic power and use it on a daily basis the inner demon's whispers of more power would be almost impossible to resist. No wonder for every successful demon hunter that passes the trials, there's something like 100 dead would be demon hunters.

Valeera is the only one i could see as a love interest for King Varian.

I think she would make a good queen for Anduin :D

so, are bloodelves always hungering for magic or do they have to come in contact with it first? bc valeera seemed to go crazy only after tasting external magic
