I was watching live, and the only part I liked was matpat and his wife. He was a phenomenal host and I felt did the best he could with the room being utterly dead. I was watching live when Mikayla won, and the entire chat was not happy. I don't like many beauty creators, but MissDarci is better than Mikayla. Still don't love her, but I think she deserves it as a smaller creator who I've heard a lot of the past year.

some niche things you missed from the podcast is that Ethan did NOT want to go, the crew wanted to go cuz it would be fun but they actually convinced him after they SPOKE to the streamies and the streamies said if h3 came, they would get a table to the front for their whole crew and they WOULDNT announce the podcast during the break. The streamies sat them far away and announced the category during a break! It's a funny beef but the streamies did do him dirty, why invite someone and promise these things when they dont provide. I dont think he would be as mad if they announced it like a real category

The BEST part of the streamers were MatPat and the segments he was involved in creating. The circle game, the among us with the Charlies and the in memorium section were funny and probably the parts I'm gonna remember the most. I didn't know how good a true ukulele apology would feel, even as a joke. I hope Matt can host some other award show or something in the future.

Tana looked sober to me. Doing entertaining reads off a monitor and do it good is a skill few have. I felt she was genuine and actually handled her failure well.

lash gate opened a can of worms for creators. its has lead to lots of changes in how creators are supposed to post their content and navigate sponsorships. while this is good for transparency, im sure the creators in the room were unhappy to see her win, given the circumstances. its annoying to see a bad "coworker" who practically ruined everything you know get recognition when she never started out on that platform anyways. The streamys are an institutionalized joke and this is proof.

In terms of this year’s Streamys, I’m just happy that Brandon Rogers and Vivziepop and her team won an award for Helluva Boss! It was also cool seeing Brandon’s celebration video he posted yesterday, love their friendship! I’m so proud of them and can’t wait to see them continue making what they’re passionate about!🥳

Small correction the H3 podcast has been nominated for podcast of the year for the last few years (I think 4+ years in a row) and never won. They were told that the winner was announced at a commercial break last year because no one showed up from the category so they showed up in person thinking then they would present the award on stage. They got double disrespected when it was at a commercial break and Jay Shetty who has already won the award before won again. It’s very obvious the Streamies are a fake award show. They present podcast of the year at a commercial break but do influencer product of the year on stage and gave collab of the year to Mr. Beast and the Rock who literally did like a 30 second red carpet interview. That was the whole video and once again it was presented on stage😂

For the Tana thing… they never let people say what they want. They will always have people read from a prompter in case people say something bad or wrong. I stopped watching them years ago but I usually found out they were happening because some creators I follow were nominated and asked for votes but this year not even that.
