The problem is all that was being showcased was the “unique Japanese stuff” by outlets that refuse to showcase actual street style which is, for better or worse, HIGHLY western inspired. The unique Japanese stuff is actually quite rare and the true skill of Japanese fashion aptitude is taking the contemporary to new places.
